So Jr is in the Assassin game with kids from school and two are hanging in our front yard with nerf guns waiting for him to leave the house so they can shoot him.

Ha, I remember those games. I went to private school though, so I never encountered neighborhood kids hanging out waiting to "shoot" me. ;)

They weren't neighborhood kids. Their car was in our driveway. Jr went to St. Louis Park this morning to pick-up a teammate and they drove to Minneapolis where Jr shot one of a pair of twins. The twin had shot his brother a little after midnight last night. The "dead" brother is on Jr's team and he let them into the house where they shot his brother while he played video games. I guess a whole bunch of schools started their game today. At Jr's school it was a $5 buy in with 142 kids playing. Winning team (of 6) splits $710. Jr is dead now.

I read this post first and in my current state, had a hard time figuring out what the heck was going on.

Sounds fun for the boys though... as long as a trigger happy cop doesn't happen along.

Nerf wars really starting becoming popular (again?) when I was a junior in high school.

Long day today, and up early for work tomorrow. Of course the Stars score and make me want to stay up and watch the finish..

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

We didn't have those in grade/HS, but in college we had the Squirt Gun war. Basically only safe places were in class, and you couldn't just walk into an unlocked dorm room/dorm room with an open door without being invited.

Long day tomorrow. Getting Easter goodies for the kids, then visiting with MEg/Biddy for a bit, then dinner with my parents.
