S'upp y'all

Minnesotans complaining bout the weather :p

I thought he was complaining about his crappy car. I live pretty close to him and I had no problem getting in my car or opening the garage door, and didn't need to scrape anything. :D

Today I love my coworkers. Well, at least 2 of them. My best friend at work asked the really good baker at work to make a birthday cake for me. They brought it in today, since many people won't be here tomorrow. It is the most amazing dark chocolate cake with a chocolate butter cream frosting layer, and the exterior covered with chocolate ganache. mmmmmmm. That is the best cake I have had in awhile.

I went to share it with everyone at break, but not many people showed up, so now I still have half the cake left.

I was. Driver door opened fine. My rear driver's side door has issues with moisture. Sticks in the summer sometimes on humid days.

Get some PB Blaster to clean out the hinge and then work in some silicon lubricant to get that those hinges swinging freely again.

You're complaining about still having plenty of good cake to eat yet?:confused:

Grrrr. This mortgage re-finance is SUCH A PAIN!! My broker is a nice guy and I'm approved, etc. but the whole process has been a nightmare. Well, nightmare is not the right word. I got a notification from the broker on the 15th at 5:30pm that said:

Your loan has been Conditionally Approved subject to the remittance of specific loan documentation which my Loan Coordinator will review with you in the next 24 business hours.

So I think within 24 hours and emailed back that on the 16th I had a window to chat about it. Heard nothing. Last night I re-read it and saw "24 business hours" and emailed my broker if that meant 3 days (8 hrs/day x 3 = 24). If so, that's a shifty way of saying that. Just say three business days. I had asked about the possibility about closing on the 21st as our office is closed for Patriot's Day and I could do it then, otherwise it would have to wait till I got back. He emails back not with an answer about the 24 business hours question but that closing Monday could be tight and that he would call me today. Do I get a call? No.

Worked late, checked my home email at 8pm, I see the email from the Loan Coordinator with a red exclamation mark sent at 10am. Attached is the document that I need to fax back. I have questions and don't want to sign and fax it till I chat with him. I emailed tonight and said I told him and the loan coordinator that if you contact me during the day to contact me at work. I just missed the entire day!

Tomorrow is the only day I can do this. It's always an issue around a trip. I picked the wrong time to get this done.

Easy day at work. Spent the first 3 hours doing HAZMAT re-certification, then went to offsite so that guy could do his re-cert at the main building, while I ended my day at offsite. And business was about 10-15% of normal there. There were 20 minute stretches where NOTHING was coming in. And got to leave from there, ending my day about an hour early. I'm going to guess tomorrow will be slow, with it being Good Friday and all.

And snow almost all gone already.
