It's already here. It's going to push -10 here 3 of the next 4 nights, and Sunday's high is supposed to be 3.

Sounds about right for this weekend, after taunting us tomorrow with a high in the 30s. Mother Nature is a beech.

High of zero here tomorrow and Sunday. Lows well into negative teens. But 70 in Tampa on Sunday, oh I cannot wait to be back home, and golfing Monday and Tuesday.

I saw that, was really hoping the nasty stuff was behind us. At least this bout will still give us some above zero temps.

I'm kind of thankful. I was thinking about heading to Church on Sat for the MN-MI game, but remembered it was Singles Awareness Day, so I think I'll sit at home and listen and avoid people, because reasons.

Want to rent out your house for June 11-16 or thereabouts? Probably will be ~6,000 high school students shooting over those 5 days. Largest shooting event in the world in Alex.

ETA: Maybe your huge tent in the back yard instead?

6000? Awesome but crazy. I am somewhat familiar with the range. It seems decent and it is big but why Alex?

I think I'll be at the game that night, which is both good and bad. I'm really not looking forward to the walk between the car and the arena. My brother got a reserved parking pass with his season tickets in the parking lot just to the north of Mariucci, but it's still a cold, cold walk when that wind starts whipping through the area.

That it is. I remember the walks between Sally's and the Mooch. Some of those nights....

Have you seen Sally's recently? That building was torn down while Sally's is still in the same physical location, they lost their parking lot on the west side of the building and there's no patio that I could see. The entire area for a few blocks around were redeveloped because of the LRT going through there now. It's a very modern, chic looking building. Ugly as sin.

I haven't. I've only been to Campus Pizza (after their re-do). That whole area, I don't recognize anymore.

It's 7 degrees here this morning. And we're getting a blizzard to add another 10-18" of snow. On the plus side, the Orange line (my subway line) is somewhat back to normal service. At least for today. Hope the Green line is operating later this afternoon so I can get to campus for the game tonight. And shout out to mookie for the ride home in exchange for my garage parking pass.

Good Morning Lodge. Saw a graphic on local TV news of seasonal snow totals of Boston and MSP. Boston's record was well over the MSP record which I think was set in 83-84 (when I was living in PA, I think). Looks like Boston should break the old record at this rate.

I don't think there is a range anywhere in the state that approaches the Alexandria Shooting Park. They have 19 trap houses, that is 95 shooters lined up at once. And with the RV park they have room for all the exhibitors and sponsors to set up. Kind of centrally located too, easy to get to on 94. Need more rooms though.

mookie - not sure if you saw - there is a track meet going on at FitRec plus no onstreet parking. Hope you get to campus in time to get in the garage!!!
