I agree. I said so ages ago (as did Scarlet IIRC) that it makes sense to start one every 1000 posts. Also, I am very tired of seeing my typo on this poll. :)

I did, but we're SO CLOSE to 10,000. Would love to see us get there and then retire this one. Thoughts? I'll do my part to post more in the hopes we close it sooner rather than later!!

And I'll start by creating a separate post for a new thought!

I bring my lunch pretty much every day. I usually bring some cut up veggies or a salad with turkey and I bring in a bottle of salad dressing to keep in the fridge we have here. There is a sign about how they toss stuff every Friday at 5 but they usually do that for people who leave gross and smelly leftovers, or if someone had a cake and it got put in there and left it, etc. They never touch stuff like salad dressing or condiments. I brought in a brand new bottle last week and they threw it out! I'm so aggravated about that. I went down to the caf to steal some. They owe me money otherwise. It was a fair trade. Someone had 5 bagels (she eats one every day) tossed. There's got to be a better way to do this.

I worked for a company that did that. They made you put date and name notes on it if it was going to be kept thru the clean out.

It's confirmed that the car Jr was driving is totaled. State farm will give us $X if they take possession or $X-2,000 if we take possession. I talked to the guys at the repair place and they don't recommend buy-back and repair due to frame damage. I looked at the dealer we bought our last few cars from and they have a couple used Subarus for under $X. Likely get one this week so we can stop shuttling Jr around.

One of the cars listed in our range is a WRX, the hot rally version of the one Jr wrecked. I'm sure it's the one he wants, but not gonna happen, even if it wouldn't raise the insurance rates...

That would be rewarding him for wrecking the othe car(s). That be a very bad precedent to set. id say get him the least expensive wagon version.

It's not going to be "his" car although it'll be the one he drives most. Not getting an ugly color. It'll likely be another Subaru for safety reasons and the only ugly color ones are the Crosstrek. And we won't get one of those.

After a small accident in grad school dad bought a new car on the notion I'd pay it back after school (I did).

Anyways, I swear that's what he did to me as he got me this rather beige Toyota Corolla. Could you have found me a more feminine car? I feel like now I'm driving again I see beige corollas all the time.

Car is still in the shop... They finally got '15 Mazda 6 parts. They say friday.

Just got the word that the office is closed tomorrow. And we can base our departure time today based on where we live and the weather. I don't live that far and it's just snowing lightly. Yet I want to leave now!!! No word on whether we'll be closed Wednesday as well. Probably not, but it could happen.
