The address on the Marriott website says 215 Monsignor O'Brien Highway, Cambridge. It said that it was new, but I didn't realize that it was so new that it wasn't open yet. Looking at Google Maps, it looks like it would be about a mile from the arena.

Yah, that is very close. Right on the subway line too as lechmere is 2 stops from the rink

I actually will be driving right by the hotel on my way to and from the Garden so I can pick them up!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

You think bbdl will be riding the subway?

Does Boston have any taxis in the form of a big truck? That'd be more up his alley, me thinks.

I've done it in New York and DC. Didn't like it, but didn't have much of a choice. My guess is we'll take taxis to get where we need to be most of the time. Maybe a bum a ride when we can. My guess is that we'll want to be down in the area of the arena for most of the day on Thursday, pregame, and Saturday afternoon. Other than that, who knows.

Checked in here in Burlington, VT. Got a handwritten note when I checked - a thank you because it's my 10th stay at this hotel. I didn't get anything, though. You'd think I'd get a coupon for a free glass of wine at the bar or something. :)

Flights booked for the honeymoon. Finally feels like it's really going to happen instead of just talk.

Excited to see Japan.

That's okay. I've cleaned out Michigan.

Let's see, I've yelled at a guy with no thumbs, screamed at a deaf guy, and tonight I completed the hat trick by directing someone blindfolded about 40 feet away from where he needed to be to win a prize at intermission.

Next week I might try to find out if a guy in an iron lung can swim.
