I have never pre-bought tickets in all my years going to the conference tourney. You'll be fine, Scarlet. AND GET HERE! That would rule.

This was when demand was very high generally, as well. Not sure there will be tons of interest outside of MN fans for the B1G.

BTW, Eden Prairie's 2OT shorty was absolutely gorgeous tonight.

Some MI fans may make the trip. Quite a few Sconnies will show, I'm sure. But the days of the numbers with UND/tUMD/SCSU? Gone.

True, but the Wisco fans have traveled less and less to St. Paul; yes they haven't been much, but even last year, try didn't have a huge showing of fans IIRC.

No sleep for the coaching staff tonight:p

Yeah, EP deserved the win in any case. They were the bigger, stronger and deeper team. BSM was lucky to get to OT.

Triple post, for the win.

At La Guardia now, waiting for my flight. Got here early because I didn't want to just sit around the hotel, thought I might be able to catch an earlier flight but that didn't work out. Got all of the work done yesterday, without a problem, which was a nice surprise. Last night we (me and my coworker) took the subway into Manhattan, got to see Times Square and The Empire State Building. Then met up with jmh for a few beers at a pretty cool little beer bar. Ended up going back via the Grand Central Station terminal, so we got to see that too, that is a pretty **** cool building. Successful work trip complete!

Oh! I also was able to get a growler from the bar we went to, not a brewery, but it has the name of the bar on it like the brewerys do, so it will work. Hopefully it makes it back in my luggage, which it should, we did get 2 back from Anchorage in the suitcase.

I have no plans to even go to St. Paul for it. **** the Big 6.

Have fun at your tourney at Parade Ice Garden or wherever it's being held. ;)

Honestly, it's too bad you and the fiancee won't come out to at least tailgate with the crew.

Soooo, I have, like, 12 comp days coming to me. That's on top of all of the vacation time I have. So I want to plan a quick trip somewhere. I looked into Florida, but as it's still Spring Break time, prices are astronomical. The time I was planning to go? Happens to coincide with the the first ever B1G Hockey Tournament. Flights to MSP are much cheaper so I was thinking about making the trip. What do you think the game ticket situation will be like if I decide to go?
Check your rep.
I'm wondering if it's a mistake but I just booked a flight on the Wed/Sun around Thanksgiving to TX, 1st class for $225. My brother and his family just booked Christmas flights for the same price.

Some MI fans may make the trip. Quite a few Sconnies will show, I'm sure. But the days of the numbers with UND/tUMD/SCSU? Gone.
I know several Michigan fans making the trip. But my group of friends certainly isn't a good indicator of the entire fan base. I wish I could go, but seeing family and a cousin's wedding is more important than watching my Wolverines lose to Penn State in the first round of the B1G tourney.

I plan on being at the tailgate on Thursday. Helmet kids need to crash it. :D

Final Five is in Grand Rapids, home of Founder's Brewery. They're tapping the KBS that weekend. Oh, hell yes we're going. :D

Game day. For real this time. I'm actually less nervous today than I was yesterday. I believe we prepared well and understand that if we play our game, we'll be fine. I'm just trying to remember to enjoy this moment, and not get too caught up in the anxiety of it.
