So my big humiliation with Jr is - he loves chick flicks. He and his mom watch rom-coms all the time. He still loves Iron Man, X Men and Fast And Furious too, but he does love Sandra Bullock movies and that stuff. So now the plan is the cheerleader is coming over Saturday and they'll cook dinner and watch a couple chick flicks. Not sure that's gonna fly. Mrs is going to get in touch with her parents to discuss the two of them being home alone.

Do you have Charter Cable? If so, maybe he's just following the advice given in its commercials lately: high school boy watches rom-coms, getting tips to become a devil with the ladies.

Yeah, I figured that would be confusing. Mavsy is an assistant coach for the Mankato West Scarlets high school hockey team. They play against the New Prague Spartans tonight for the chance to go to State and play in the Xcel. The last couple years of youth hockey for Jr they had New Prague in their district.

My roommate/teammate and a few friends in college were from New Prague. Went to the weirdest wedding reception ever at their community center (in New Prague).

That's all I have to offer. Go Mankato West!?!

Jr. sounds like he's doing a good job wheeling and dealing this girl. Good for him, hope he learns some good lessons and has fun! High school "relationships" are fun and laid back.

Uh oh. Mavsy's game has been postponed to tomorrow due to blizzard conditions in southern MN. Going to be at All Seasons Arena now. Another one in that general direction also postponed (section 3A Luvern vs New Ulm).

We play at the Rochester Rec Center. ASA is hosting 3A. ASA is probably a tad small for a section venue. (1200-1500 seats) The Rec Center isn't huge by any means, but it's 2500 capacity. That's where we play.

So, I got home today and saw a message from the woman: she was able to get me a Bill O'Murray shirt from The Chive! This, despite their servers crashing at the release time due to traffic for the shirt, and their notorious reputation of selling out of their shirts in a matter of minutes. Made my day, for sure.

Just scored myself the Irish Keep Calm shirt, the Bill O'Murray was still in-stock in my size surprisingly.

Soooo, I have, like, 12 comp days coming to me. That's on top of all of the vacation time I have. So I want to plan a quick trip somewhere. I looked into Florida, but as it's still Spring Break time, prices are astronomical. The time I was planning to go? Happens to coincide with the the first ever B1G Hockey Tournament. Flights to MSP are much cheaper so I was thinking about making the trip. What do you think the game ticket situation will be like if I decide to go?

They added stock of the BFO'M today, I guess, and it's back to sold out except for smalls, I think.

And I'm glad that crappy hotel burned down. What a horsesh* business practice they had going.
