...said I'd just pay $25 for SRO.

I just checked the Gopher ticket site....SRO is now $30 for a regular game, and $35 for a premiere game (Notre Dame is the next premiere game). WTeff. That's just sick. And regular tickets are $45/$55 for normal/premiere games.

Last nights tix had a face value of $48. Add in parking and food and beverages and cost of four to attend a game is around $240.00. Then add in hotel and gas and food............and Gopher hockey tix are one of the less expensive games compared to that of say the queens or wild or twins.

The g family attends 6 or 7 major sporting events per year.

Now you know why I flew to CO for MN games in the past. It cost the same as 4 MN games just for me.

I forgot to include merchandi$e.

Good thing my MN teams return the favor by providing us fans championships and no drama.

Afternoon Lodge. It was nice to finally put a face to a screen name for gmann last night - oh, and dx too, I guess. :p Good to see the Rube again too.

I think the Beavers are gonna be pretty good this year. I said so after the Friday game and it was reinforced last night. They have some speed and some skill and they play hard end to end.

Umm, goldy... we met gmann once before. It was you, g, Gonzo (not a Muppet!!), Mrs. Gonzo, and me near the Olympics display, I believe. Don't ask me when, though. I can't remember everything for you. :)

I was going to say something but I thought I would let it slide. ;)

About 3/4 done with the shed. Just have 2 more pieces of plywood to put on the roof, a couple pieces of siding for the ends of the peaks, and the doors. Then we need to get some harnesses to get tar paper and shingles down. It has quite a bit of pitch. Then just have to put in shelves and a ladder to the loft.

Got 5-0 creepin' around my building. One cop went one way, his partner the other. Doing a walk-around. Probably nothing, but could be interesting. And I live in a very quiet/good neighborhood.

2nd squad showed up. All chatted, waited a couple minutes, then left. Dunno what they were looking for, but whatever it was, it wasn't there. There were never any lights (including headlights) on when they showed up. Kind of eerie.

Good Morning Lodge.

I've been meaning to mention for mookie - maybe gmann or Brent noticed too - one of the freshman skating cheerleaders for the Gophs this year appears to be mookie's type. Very attractive young Asian lady. She balances out anther newbie on the squad who appears to be destined to be the base of any pyramid formations they perform, but a very good skater.

I need to figure out how to get 2 4'x7' chunks of 3/4" plywood to the top of shed with only 2 people. 8' walls, and another 4 1/2' of peak to get them up. Yes, I built a 12'6" tall "garden shed". :p

Aren't you some type of engineer? Shouldn't you be able to rig some fancy contraption to get this to work with one person

And another week starts. I am exhausted from the weekend.
