Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Better have it all done in the next two weeks. :p

Big Boss is stopping by offsite tomorrow. Of course it is a Tuesday, which is my busiest day of the week (have a weekly order that takes about 45 minutes to do). If I clock out at less than 10 hours, I'll be shocked and amazed. On a bright note, DH Boss might give me this Friday off, even though they can't really afford to do so (lack of backup at my position). If I don't get it, fine, but if I DO get it, BONUS.
Well, grass isn't getting planted until spring.

Had a meeting with the plant quality manager earlier today and she sounded just like Natasha Fatale - hard to resist the temptation of asking her if she know Moose & Squirrel.

:D

I won't get to meet you? :(
Tell Lil to run fast.
I know. Trying to figure out how I can get back in time for a bit of the game...

Is she old enough to know who that is?

I wanna know if she's hot. A Russian accent = sexy.

And Big Boss didn't stop by the off-site today. We were getting are butts handed to us, for whatever reason. I don't know how, but we still made it out at a decent time (and I only logged 9.5 hours!).

A certain word in my post is censored? Are you kidding me?!

Morning.

Rough one for the Royals last night. Hopefully they've figured out Shields is not "big game" and bench his arse.

I wonder if he looked at goldy's over in cake town prior to designing his..

No interest in having a pool. I'm doing work for necessity, not for frivolous crap. :p

The low spot in the driveway is right in front of the garage, so the water puddles there. If it rains hard, the puddle starts getting close to the house. So I'm re-sloping the driveway in front of the garage, and scraping off some dirt next to the garage, so the water runs away from the house, and around the garage. Making good progress too, new class 5 comes in this afternoon.

After this dirt moving is done, which should be tonight, I have to get lumber for the shed. It will be a small garden shed 10' x 12', just big enough for the lawn mower, 4-wheeler and miscellaneous garden tools. Wife and my mom are going to start working on it on Friday, while I work, then on Saturday and Sunday we are going to go all-out and get it done. Shouldn't be a problem to get it mostly done by the end of the weekend.

Morning Lodge.

That pond he talks about is him trying to be modest, it's actually a private lake he owns.

I keep telling you, in WisconSIN it would be a lake, in Minnesota it's only a pond (about 5 acres, WI calls a one acre pond a lake, MN considers 10 acres to be a lake). In Iowa someone would have a resort with ski boats on it. :p

So that's what the landscaping shed builders are calling it these days.

Good morning Lodge.

So you don't like a moat around your house? More fun to dig a trench all around and have a little drawbridge let down to enter the garage

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

In my almost 15 years of working with this company, I think I just experienced my worst commute ever. I live 4.8 miles from the office. I was in my car at 8:12 and pulled in to the garage in my building at 9:34. I could've WALKED it faster. My arm is burning with pain; I get a text from my boss at 6:58am asking an inane question; I just want to go back home and go to bed. Drove in today because I'm going out to dinner with my folks for my birthday and I feel like cancelling. Are we sure it's not Tuesday? Because it sure as hell feels like it. I'm going to see my PCP tomorrow and it can't come soon enough. She HAS to give me something for this pain.
