Good Morning Lodge, from the office (again, a real office). :(

Jr is still in a deer stand. He is hunting in an anterless special season and a buck was real close but not legal for him to take. He said it stuck it's tongue out at him.

I went for a run this morning and had a spike buck jump out about 30 yards in front of me. spooked me a little. Then a little further down the road I was cooling down a little and had 2 ladies come up behind me, spooked me thinking that it might have been a bigger buck looking to thump on Junior there.

Not kidding, I yelled out before the last XP: "Hey! It's Buffalo! We can still screw it up!" :o

And when walking into church today, a PACKER fan of all people said, "Wow, that's gutsy" to me, who was wearing my Flutie jersey. :D

Flutie. Honestly always was a fan of his. When he became a Bill....had to buy it. :) The little guy that could.

I guess I could have worn my Kelly, Riemersma, Paup, or Bruce Smith jersey.

Once they hit the pros, no matter what sport, if they are on my team, I cheer for them. This includes Z Parise when he was with the Devils. I KNOW!

Add to previous post: still have to complete my Testaverde career. IIRC, I'm missing his Browns and Cowboys jerseys. Yes, I have the creamsicle Tampa Bay of his.

If it makes you feel any better, I HAVE considered getting a Eugene Chung Pats jersey, if the price was right/jersey was the right era. I eventually want a jersey from every team in the NFL.

It doesn't. Because Eugene Chung didn't go to BU. And Flutie went to that other school. That's what my ew was for!!! Not because of Buffalo.

I knew what the "ew" was for. :p Hoping to make it up by stating my desires for your pro team. I always loved the old-school Pats jerseys.

In two days I drove the Blue Ridge Pwy from near Mayberry (Mt. Airy, NC) at the VA border to almost the TN border. Great time, perfect weather, & a great road!!

Good weekend with the family. My parents threw a party last night which was fun. Hog roasts are always great. Wife's family came for it too, so we hung out with them some this morning. Got to hear my mom's grand plans for the house her and my dadad are building next spring. Also loaded up the skid loader and hauled it up here with my old truck. Going to be moving dirt around the homestead this week, and I can use the trailer to haul home the huge pile of lumber I'll need to build the garden shed that we desperately need. (Next weekend's plan)
