Quizno's filed for Chapter 11... one less place to get a sandwich. Subway sucks and Jimmy Johns is no better.

Chapter 11 doesn't necessarily mean going out of business. It basically means a restructuring of the corporation to pay off as much debt as possible.

Chapter 7 is the "ain't coming back from this one, pull the plug" bankruptcy.

To be fair, Chapter 11 is no picnic, it's almost like a slow death for a business. I like Quizno's, but I don't like their prices.

Just down the way around Tampa. SE quadrant if dividing the area by I-4 and I-75.

*HT. Give up 2 PPG's in first 5 minutes. Win 1-0 rest of game. We'll see how they play when facing elimination.

I saw that coming before it happened. Seriously, you don't open a store in Houghton and still charge $8 for a regular-sized sub. I'm amazed that the Houghton franchise lasted for the 5 or so years that it did.

And frankly, I would take Subway over JJ's. I don't know where that "Gourmet Subs" crap came from, but JJ's is basically hardened mayo-bread, with a fresh coating of mayo, a few slices of meat and cheese, a few mealy tomatoes, and a handful of lettuce. JFC, even the bacon there sucks! :eek: (it's pre-cooked and refrigerated - at least Subway throws it in the toaster oven)

Happy UAA beat the Nanooks. I hope they can do it again tomorrow.

Ew. 7:10 game is bad enough but in Lawrence? Yeesh.

Good morning Lodge. They said it was supposed to be sunny and 50 today. It's gray, rainy and so cold I put the heat on.

ETA: looks like the spam bots are still getting thru. Two new ones in D1.
