Hello, * Hockey Country Club? I'd like to reserve a tee time.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Just got back from the BU-Minn women's tourney game. Holy cow those are two fast teams, and Minnesota is unbelievably fast. And solid. And fast.

1-1 after 1, and they were flying the whole time.
2-1 Minnesota after 2, with BU having two rebounds go right off the post.
Then in the 3rd, when mere mortals start being tired, Minnesota was as fast as the beginning of the game. Three fast ones in the 3rd for a 5-1 win.

Somebody in the women's thread said the BU band was the best band in college hockey, and they weren't kidding. They were awesome.

And goldy came over to say Hi. What a gentleman! I don't care what people say about you, g. :p

Phew. Time for a cold beverage.

HHT, Part 1. Dunno if there will be a part 2, but like the men's hockey team, I don't really care about tonight. Doesn't mean anything, really.

I saw that coming before it happened. Seriously, you don't open a store in Houghton and still charge $8 for a regular-sized sub. I'm amazed that the Houghton franchise lasted for the 5 or so years that it did.

And frankly, I would take Subway over JJ's. I don't know where that "Gourmet Subs" crap came from, but JJ's is basically hardened mayo-bread, with a fresh coating of mayo, a few slices of meat and cheese, a few mealy tomatoes, and a handful of lettuce. JFC, even the bacon there sucks! (it's pre-cooked and refrigerated - at least Subway throws it in the toaster oven)
Disagree 100%. Subway is ok, just ok. JJ is much better, I have to ask for a small amount of mayo though, they put too much on. Though it doesn't really matter when I'm at work, the local sandwich place/deli is so much better than either, it ain't even funny.

They did. :)

I should submit this for the Preposterous Statement Tourney. I like them both...but, you must be high if you think Subway is better than Jimmy John's. :p

Jersey Mike's is better than both...albeit slightly messy.

Thankfully they did.:) will you be attending the NCHC tourney?

Keep going Beavs!

Also, Sioux, once again, please figure it out.

Hey State of Hockey. Question for you. I saw that Johnny Holm is playing at something called Epiphany springfest in CRapids. I was thinking that we should go, but then I realized its put on by a church.... Since it looks like this place is by where you live, I'm asking you, do they serve booze there? and Will it be a helluva good time like a normal Johnny Holm show? I'm ok going to a church festival, if it will be fun, and I can drink beer, but I don't want to get into something that I don't expect.
