The Impreza is in fine shape. On Subarus the check engine light disables the cruise control and the traction control so those two lights also come on. I assigned him to stop at a parts store that does the free diagnostic on his way home from school. Likely a loose wire, bad O2 sensor or something.

Back on the ice tonight for the first time in a while for the Wild's Learn to Play Hockey held in Mankato. Should be interesting, I guess our registration sold out, which is positive, hopefully the next couple of weeks help some young players to want to play hockey here in Mankato this winter.

So someone is going to teach Mavsy to play hockey? That's nice. :p

Not a loose gas cap, we're 200 miles + into this tank and the cap didn't suddenly come loose. Light has gone off. Code indicates something related to valve timing, may be a solenoid which is relatively cheap. Will wait to see if it appears again. Suspicious that it appeared on a wet night when the temp dropped pretty fast and then disappeared (condensation in an electrical connection).

Had the Big Boss's boss and a manager of one of our sister companies from Shanghai visit today. Big Boss gave me major kudos. :D "If you can clone (Brenthoven), your business will do wonders. He's the machine you want at your workplace." :D

(seriously, ever since I got this new position, which is rated a 1.5-person job and I've been doing it alone, Big Boss has been more than impressed with my work)

Nice. Will that behavior be rewarded somehow?

Come review time, I hope so. Frankly, just keeping this position is worth it. It's absolutely perfect for me, honestly (it's a position that is appointed, not applied for). At the main building, my position has been hurting relatively, so my only fear is that they revert me back there, which is unlikely, given Big Boss' opinion on my current position.

I will forever be coming for your leg...

Morning.

I am ready for the weekend. Work has been a bit stressful this week. Normally I'm not affected by it, but sometimes it gets to everyone.

My mother-in-law might drive up this weekend though. So I won't get to just lay around the house and relax. :/

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Ended up being a late night last night. After work we had to drive to my parents to drop the dog off, because my sister is getting married this weekend, out of town, so we wanted the dog with my parents dog so the neighbor girl can take care of all of them. Ended up not leaving until later than planned, then had to stop at Hammerheart to pick up a growler for Painted Bandit, and got one for myself for gits and shiggles. Once we got to my parents house, my mom had dinner ready (which was pretty awesome) and we ended up staying there longer than planned. Ended up not getting home until 10:00 and still had to get a load of laundry done. We're leaving right after work tonight, so won't have time to do it today. Got to work pretty early, so I can head home early, to get some more stuff done before leaving. We want to get to Clear Lake by 6:30 so we can stop at McDonald's Meats to stock up on brats, bacon and sticks. Should be a fun weekend though!

Morning Lodge. Brisk out today, though to hear the local news types you'd think it was about absolute zero out (oooh, wind chill of 39). I wore a light jacket.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

The weather is beautiful out. Finally weather I can agree with! No jacket needed here. Light jacket comes out at around 35 degrees.
