Notified the boss, since apparently he doesn't listen to me. NOT HAPPY. Thankfully, I actually AM professional on the job, otherwise he would have received a boatload of profanities about how inept he is at his job.
Does he have a 2nd job in Sales at bbdl's company? :D

Real hockey talk in here?? Must be close to the end of Summer!

More human interest than hockey. A kid has made a questionable decision that has a chance to negatively impact the rest of his life.

Clearly the parents are absent or as messed up as the kid.

Tragic...

Good morning Lodge.

It's a perfect late summer/early fall crisp morning.

Campfire is roaring. Coffee is ready. Scrambled eggs with bacon, onions and green peppers has been served along with locally grown cantaloupe (also locally grown and raised eggs and vegetables). I also made something neat for the boys this morning. I whipped up a batter of blueberry muffins. I cut a few oranges in half and dug out the flesh. I filled one half of the orange peel with the batter and then put the empty half on top of the one filled with batter. I wrapped them in tin foil and laid them on the hot coals. Quite tasty if I say so for myself.

Lounging, fishing and biking are on tap for today.

That all sounds awesome.

Off to work...

-sigh-

No beer/booze this trip. Just acid and mushrooms. Lots and lots of acid and mushrooms. :D Actually, I'm not much of a drinker so that's snot much of a surprise to me. Water, Gatorade and coffee is where it's at. ;)

Still rolling through the Menard's training. At the point now where I am applying to stores and having interviews. It's actually pretty rough because of all the things I have learned from the training, the first and foremost is that I am truly burnt out on retail. Ugh.
