You can bundle up against the cold and be find, but you can only get so naked and you'll still be miserable in the hot humid stuff. Plus, bugs like the humid weather.
Nervous parent duty.On the night shift now MEUSA?![]()
The bad news is she brought along her boyfriend... who's from Wisconsin! Our first meeting will be when he wakes up in my house after that travel nightmare. And, yes, I have a plan...:
The good news is that since he is from Wisconsin he is comfortable sleeping outside with your dog in the dog house.![]()

Though MarkE may be getting a phone call
From authorities when they follow the trail of footprints through the snow back to his house from the violated deer that roam CT

Mama's the gun toter in the family. She'll handle that part of the interrogation.Shotgun cleaned, ammo laid in?
I'm actually thinking of something like this. Of course, I don't drink so that makes it a little harder, but I will probably offer an after dinner beverage.I always liked:
MEUSA: So, would you like to have a beer with me?
Date: Sure!
MEUSA: Oh, so you're going to drink and drive! (or if underage: You think I'm providing for a minor?)
MEUSA: So, would you like to have a beer with me?
Date: No, sir.
MEUSA: Oh, too good to have a beer with your girl's father, huh?!
There is a dog house out back that hasn't been used in years (our current dogs are way too domesticated). That, and the garage, have been pointed out as viable sleeping quarters this week. The good news is that since he is from Wisconsin he is comfortable sleeping outside with your dog in the dog house.
Truth be told, I'm not sure I would subject him to the dogs. They're big, spoiled brats and usually get treated better than me around here. What did Mark's dog ever do to you?
He's from Superior, WI and his family are farmers. His dad is also a minister so he has some strong religious beliefs (we knew this already as our daughter told us). He likes hockey and is actually a fan of Daloot! I gave him his first points since he's neither a Badger or Gopher fan. He's not really a football fan, but likes the Vikings while his family leans more towards the Packers. He said he's more of an outdoorsy type (hunting, fishing, camping, motorcyles, snowmobiles) than a sports fan. In fact, he said my daughter is probably a bigger fan than he is.
