Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

Mornin', Lodge.

The baby is stirring. I expect I'll have to get up with her soon for a feeding. She's been sleeping for a good five hours or so at night. We just got her down early last night.

The mister and I are going to see some houses later today. Looks like we may be putting down some roots. While it's not Minnesota, it's not too bad out here; we kind of like it.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

Good morning Lodge.

Decorated the trees yesterday and also hung the Xmas lights outside. Can't believe it's 12/1 already.

Sort of a Lazy day on the agenda today.

At noon the g family will watch the Queens fine tune things before they begin their post season domination.

After the game I will Introduce little gII to Star Wars: A New Hope. His life is never going to be the same (proudly wipes tears away from eyes). ;) In preparation of the movie little gII and I built some lego stuff this morning.............Millennium Falcon and the X-Wing Fighter. He really digs sci fi and he is really into super heroes. I can't wait to expose him to some of the movies that exist. He is just a bit young to go there yet. I have been debating if he is ready for Star Wars...........At 5.5 years of age I decided he is ready.

I will be making turkey, mashed potatoes, wild rice and other stuff for dinner tonight. (Since the g family is never home for Thanksgiving we have started a tradition to make the meal the Sunday after Thanksgiving.)

Greetings from the bus home. Our 10:10 bus didn't show up till about 10:40. What a cluster*****. We're due back in Boston at 2:30 but we may not get there till close to 4:00 at this rate.

Good morning. We will be in Europe over Christmas so we decided to celebrate on St. Nicholas Day. Buzz! I leave for London, Ont. tomorrow and will be there for two weeks so we decided today will be our day to celebrate. Steaks on the grill and me lovely ladies each have new coats to take on the cool/damp winter of Paris & London!

JEALOUS!!!

Superman II (the Donner cut, mind you) better be on the movie list!

I haven't seen it.

I am not much of a movie buff as I just don't have the time to watch what I would like. I am a fan of the super hero movies just because I grew up liking them and am naturally a fan. I recently watched the Avenger stuff and I thought they were very good. I haven't seen the newer Batman movies. Aside from the Superman stuff back in the eighties I have not seen the newer ones.

I went and saw Star Wars in the theater when I was in first grade. The movie blew me away and like many others the first three movies were fantastic. I like the last three movies just because of the story but I was not impressed with the the visual stuff.

I have exposed little gII to Star Wars and super heroes through books, toys and such. He is amped to watch Star Wars.

Superman II is only one of the greatest superhero movies ever. EVER.

Afternoon. *HT last night, but was at a wedding and then slept for 11 hours, guess I was a little tired. At the Bucs/Panthers game, sitting 15 rows behind the Bucs sideline, 45 yard line. DMC just did halftime show.
