I'm struggling thus far today; morning practice and a lot on the plate this week. I'm looking forward to about 2 pm on Wednesday when I can get a little bit of a break.

Still dealing w head issues? Remember your education is your first and second priority as long as the bills are taken care of

Morning Lodge.

I'm thankful for the short week, as I'm looking forward to time off. At the same time however, I have way too much work I need to do, and could use a full 5 days to accomplish my work. As it is, it will be a long 3 days.

37 and rain here right now in Alabama. Supposed to get nasty tomorrow (wind and the whole mixed bag precip possible) and then just cold and windy Wednesday.

Can't wait to deal with airport folk Thursday flying back to Tampa from probably Nashville or Birmingham. Ugh.

So there's bingo on TV in Canada. BINGO. Get bingo, call a number, win some money. I had to double check and make sure I was in my hotel and not a nursing home. :D

Fly home on Wednesday, will be nice to fly home the day before T-day with absolutely no hassles! :)

Head does feel much better; almost symptom free, but I'm still struggling with sleep. I'm easing back into my school load, but it's tough to do with a big paper and two exams wednesday. The professor that has assigned the paper has been helpful in accommodating me.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

Packing for my trip. The weather forecast is dismal for Wednesday. I need to prepare for a variety of things but I don't want to bring a ginormous suitcase. I wonder if the rain will have stopped when we get to New York. And I wonder how the ride down will be. I want to wear my Uggs but since there will be torrential rains, I may need to wear my winter boots. Ugh. I have a duffel to bring on the bus and the amount of stuff I have in there is a lot and I haven't packed any food. Or my iPad yet. I just have a bad feeling about this trip. The wind is probably going to prevent the balloons from being a part of the parade.

Unless you're still getting some action from this "relationship", you're a sucker for taking care of the dog.
Eh, you would have accused me of being a sucker, Sucka, or worse anyways. No booty calls for me. :( Just doggy sitting her dog.
I haven't really talked to my ex since we broke up, but he's watched my dog for a weekend. My dog is awesome though, so he may miss her as much or more than he misses me.
pretty much this. Her dog is a 2 year old black lab and he's got a lot of that lab Puppy spunk in him yet. Our jack russels are both pretty old and just not up for playing much anymore. Having him around kind of scratches the itch of wanting to go out and get a new dog. The Ex I do miss, but I think we both realized that the relationship just wasn't going anywhere with the both of us wanting two different futures that just were not going to sync up anytime soon.
I don't think monster is from Iowa....but I still wouldn't put it past him.
:p:p

Good morning Lodge.

The problem with bringing baked goods to work is that I eat them all day long. I brought in a loaf of pumpkin bread this morning and have already had a piece. I may only eat pumpkin bread today (considering it is what I had for breakfast before I came to work). mmm.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

Morning Lodge. Someone brought in baked goods to our office (which I certainly need none of). The new guy - CAD/BIM jockey, bought in mint-chocolate brownies and ginger snap cookies. Probably more sugar in those two batches than our family uses in a couple of months.

Jr had asked the high school coach about being a student manager (sent an e-mail) got one back saying "let's talk Monday." Then got a follow up one, which Jr didn't read until Monday, asking if Jr wanted to go with the team to the scrimmages in Duluth. Nobody better bad-mouth Ken Pauly around me. He has been so nice to my kid, even while cutting him in tryouts. So different from what I see from other high school coaches.

Good Morning, Lodge!

Getting ready to my trip to my parent's house for the holiday. Still need to pick up some more Minnesota beers for my cousin.

First serious snow fall today and tomorrow. Should make the afternoon commute interesting.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

I have now been at my job long enough that when my suppliers call me, they want to talk about college hockey. Just got off the phone with a supplier in Tyngsboro, MA and he was telling me how Lowell was doing. Yesterday I was talking to a supplier that used to ref Atlantic Hockey but now he works in Kansas City, so we were talking about college hockey.
