I think the complaints are more based upon MnDOT becoming comparitively poorer now than they were in the past. We expect to drive in the snow and to deal with it, but we also expect MnDOT to make an effort at plowing the main roads when we know rush hour could be impacted. That doesn't seem to be happening anymore, at least not like it used to happen.

I'd say you need to worry about something else, but at least your brain has moved on from Daphne+Velma+Fred+mookie fantasies. :p

Forget plowing, for as much as I had to pay for new license tabs, MNDOT should be installing heated roads to melt the snow automatically. I can't believe how much this state likes to steal money from us. They're all crooks.

Bought concert tickets. Again.

Zac Brown Band, at Summerfest, July 3rd. I think I got pretty good tickets through the fan club. Doing this instead of going to Red Rocks this year, to save $$$.

Do you know much about his Summerfest deal? There's a beer and food component to it all, too. I was watching some of it on AXS TV a couple months ago and Mr. Brown was talking about the pairing of various beers with whatever food and why he associates it all with music.

Be prepared, you might need cotton for your ears, as a number of the bands that play Summerfest are of the Rock and/or Roll variety. ;)

Yeah, he does his "Eat and Greets" at all of his concerts. You have to be in the fan club, and then there is a lottery to see who gets in. I'm planning on giving it a shot, since it would be pretty cool. I don't know if he is doing something more than the normal Eat and Greet for Summerfest. I'm not sure what else he would do, since the standard versions are pretty awesome.

I'm sure it will be someone I like opening for ZBB. I have my fingers crossed that it is Blackberry Smoke. :D

Also, just booked a trip to New York late next week. Have to be at a customer site on Friday, so I'm flying there Thursday afternoon, and coming back Saturday morning. Staying on Long Island, looks like it is close to the ****hole the Islanders call home.

You're staying in Brooklyn? :D Yes, I know they haven't moved there yet

Afternoon, Lodge. Well, finally decided to pull the trigger and will add another airman certification (Dispatch) by the end of June. Starts in April.

Be sure to wash your boots off before you get home. You wouldn't want any of that funk there at home.

The beer and food component to Summerfest isnt that great, nothing you cant just get at a bar.

I dont think he has a problem with the Rock and/or Roll variety of music, it's the rap and hip hop

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

Roads were plowed on my way in, except for the small streets right by the house, and some other small streets I take when I get really close to work. Main roads were plowed though. There was still snow on them, since it was still snowing, and plowing doesn't perfectly clean a roadway, but still, people driving slower than molasses in January was the bigger issue. Seriously people, there is a happy medium between 10mph and 60mph.

No kidding....if you're going to drive 25 MPH then GET OFF THE DAM FREEWAY YOU MORON.

I'm sorry. Sincerely. Long Island sucks, punch some overdramatic Lawn Guyland Mother in the face while you're there.
