Option one really was an option.
After an ultrasound (to determine what was going on) the doc said something like...."It's a kidney stone and I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that the stone is just small enough to pass on its own. The bad news is it's only completed about 10% of its journey. I replied "what are my options?"..............refer to post 147 to see what the options were.
Seriously......I have never ever experienced as much pain as I did with that kidney stone. Doc said it ranks right up there with child birth and heart attack. My nurse said if she had to choose between child birth or kidney stones she would pick child birth every time.

(I thought for kidney stones now they did some ultrasound blast that pulverized it? I thought you didn't have to pass them any more. Guess not.)
