It's ****ing easy you wuss :p

Read in, recode teams as numbers, set up a matrix for the records. Set the initial values, run 2-3 lines of code about ten times (for loop) print.

That hardest part is reading in the game data.

It's not like the sewage plumbing we call pairwise

Yeah, not doing that for the last 10 years.

Caddying is done for the season and now I'm subbing every day. It sucks that I have to start waking up early again, but now I have my weekends back. I had to work most weekends during summer.

Is caddying really working? You're walking around a giant parkland area while carrying a bag. A savvy caddy might even invest in his own pull cart.

I don't think you can use a pull-cart if you're a caddy. Its not....traditional, and golf loves its traditions.

When you're carrying two bags with sometimes below average golfers...it becomes work. And pull carts are for ladies. I would never :)

So I have to download itunes...I'm assuming it is an app? Then use that to download the song, and it will show up in my Amazon player?

No, iTunes will not show up in the Amazon player. iTunes uses an .aaf file format, proprietary to Apple. Amazon, Windows Media, and all the others with which I'm familiar in the Windows universe, will not read that format.

If you wanted to add those files from iTunes into any other media player, you'd have to either get a converter or use iTunes to make an audio CD, then re-import that CD using a non-Apple file importer as an mp3 file. The problem with that method is you're likely to lose some audio integrity as you're taking a compressed file, expanding it to a ***** format and the recompressing it using new algorithms. Sound fidelity gets compromised when doing that.

I like their phones, but otherwise I agree with the sentiment. iTunes is inferior.

The reason for the different audio format, though, is not really something that's Apple's fault per se. It comes from Apple using a Linux-based OS, and Windows being Windows. When the .aaf was created, there was little to no inter-operability between the two formats. Now Apple simply maintains their .aaf as it's intended for their OS. The **** Apple part comes in when they won't allow other media players to read their audio files, in part coming for their heavily enforced DRM restrictions.

There are several Android apps that will put iTunes files onto an android phone. I have one called iSyncr. It's pretty easy to use, and there is a Lite version.

One more difference between men and women - I'm walking around in golf shirt, feeling comfortable. Most other guys are also similarly dressed. Most women are wearing sweaters of various thickness, a few are even wearing jackets/coats, a few with blankets, and one woman is walking around while wearing an open jacket, a winter hat, and a pair of erect nipples pointing through her blouse. Add to that, she's a mookie special.

Of course we're going out for drinks after the game. I just don't know where. Certainly not the closed Damon's. I usually go to Cub's with my friends but it will be crowded on Friday trivia night.
I'm thinking Fraiser's on Packard or Friday's on Ann Arbor-Saline. I'll see if KC has any suggestions.

Know anyone that needs a ticket for Friday? I have an extra.

Now I am.

Figures, you ****ers do this crap while I'm sick.

My seats on Friday are in Section 26, Row 1.

Figure out where we're meeting at the arena on Friday, and we can decide on where we're going afterwards.

To the regular suspects: What's the plan for Saturday/Saturday Night? I know I set up the facebook event....but I'm wondering if we're planning on all meeting at the bar at a time, or if we want to meet ahead of time? Brent, what are your plans? Do you want people to stop over before we go to the bar, or do you have stuff going on earlier on Saturday?

As usual everything works for me...

Off to my brother's house. He's having someone look at his furnace so I have to wait for the guy to show up to let him in and wait for him to leave. This should be fun considering my brother has no TV or internet...

I realize you went to UND, but I thought at BSM they might have taught you about these things called "books", or given all that time spent in the Forks, maybe "magazines" would be more appropriate for you. :p

This. I have my game tickets at home. Will let you know where I am. Though I will be wearing my Frozen Fenway jersey so you will probably see me before I see you. :0 Also, jen from Wisconsin is joining me for the game.

What's the parking situation at Yost?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

Again, might not be familiar given the time in the Forks but, there are these things called "Libraries" and "bookstores." :p

Shall I educate you further on these concepts? :)

You think that MNS's brother has a library at his house? That is very Edina of you. ;)
