Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

Luckily I didn't spend any time caring about hockey this weekend. I have enough sense to not care anymore.

Sat in the combine for 14 hours Saturday. Got quite a bit done, but then we ran into some wet corn, and had to quit at about 8pm. Probably would have gone until midnight if we were in dryer corn. Yesterday was pretty useless, only got a couple loads picked between rains, and the corn wasn't dry enough to pick through the rain. Ended up watching football, and getting some wings at a local bar with my dad, sister's bf, and a couple of my dad's friends while my fiance, my mom and my sister went bridesmaids dress shopping.

Thanks. It sucks but it is what it is.

I am looking forward to meeting with the team once they have analyzed everything ( in a few weeks) to provide us their recommendation/game plan. Today is all about taking the next step in assisting little g in every way possible. The tools we will be utilizing are the most advanced and high tech options available today.
Wait, what is going on with little, little g? Did I miss something.

My employer wants me to log my volunteer hours with them on our LAN site, but it makes you choose from a list of, more or less, pre-approved groups. I spent some 16 hours over the weekend running the scoreboard in a charity hockey tournament to benefit the U of M's Rasmussen Center. Now my company's system won't let me log the hours.

The company wants us to log the hours so that they can go around saying that we donate $X and Y hours per year. 16 hours over a weekend is a fair chunk of change when it comes to these things.

We need to figure out where. They don't let us meet outside between periods anymore.

Keep me posted. I will let the BU folks making the trip know once you pick a place. wT - you'll be there I assume??

Does anyone know if there is a website that has historical RPI (the rankings, not the school, sorry Ralph) or KRACH rankings 1-59,58,etc? For say, the last 10 or 15 years? Just the year-end final rankings... I have looked around with Google, and haven't found anywhere that has an archive of past years rankings.

I'll lean on WT for this one. I'm only at Yost once or twice a year now, at most.

I'm assuming we're all going out for a drink or three afterwards, right?

College Hockey News does, I think. You may have to really search around for it.

This is something you did on your own time and the company wants to take credit for it?

So as a thank you for some help we gave my sister-in-law and brother-in-law this past summer they took us out to dinner and the the Cirque du Soleil dealio near the big mall. Yep, it was everything I thought it would be: 1)Won't be doing attending one of those again and 2) glad I didn't pay for it. People actually like that crap? The stuff they do physically is amazing but beyond that.....pffffft.

Just filled up my car for the 2nd time, 1100 miles. Not bad, but I'm certainly not used to having a 26 gallon diesel tank. Almost a Bill. Yikes.
