This. I have my game tickets at home. Will let you know where I am. Though I will be wearing my Frozen Fenway jersey so you will probably see me before I see you. :0 Also, jen from Wisconsin is joining me for the game.

What's the parking situation at Yost?

I have my spot kinda over by Michigan Stadium. I park and hike a little bit. IIRC parking has gotten tougher over the years right by Yost.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

Just found out the marketing manager for the product that I support is taking a position with another company. He's been really good for this product line, putting a ton of time and effort into it from the marketing standpoint that we haven't seen anytime recently. I'm worried that we're going to slide downhill now.... Maybe I should apply for the opening...I might actually get it too, and it would be a significant upgrade in salary, and significant upgrade in high stress.

One more difference between men and women - I'm walking around in golf shirt, feeling comfortable. Most other guys are also similarly dressed. Most women are wearing sweaters of various thickness, a few are even wearing jackets/coats, a few with blankets, and one woman is walking around while wearing an open jacket, a winter hat, and a pair of erect nipples pointing through her blouse. Add to that, she's a mookie special.

BOiNG!!!!!

Mookie parked in a back yard right across from the front door at yost for $20 all day
Football afternoon
Hockey night

Mookie was the last car to leave :p

You think that MNS's brother has a library at his house? That is very Edina of you. ;)

I suppose that is always possible, but I was thinking MNS might have a library near his house, or his brothers house. I know there is a bookstore near MNS's house.

Of course we're going out for drinks after the game. I just don't know where. Certainly not the closed Damon's. I usually go to Cub's with my friends but it will be crowded on Friday trivia night.
I'm thinking Fraiser's on Packard or Friday's on Ann Arbor-Saline. I'll see if KC has any suggestions.

Now I am.
**** shame Damons closed. I thought the word around AA is that another Buffalo Wild Wings is going to go in there. That or another big sportsbar type chain would snatch up the spot.

As usual everything works for me...

Off to my brother's house. He's having someone look at his furnace so I have to wait for the guy to show up to let him in and wait for him to leave. This should be fun considering my brother has no TV or internet...

He some sort of monk??

Scarlet, when you are here, in the cities, are you going to be interested in hanging out/going out for drinks/doing anything with us fools? I am considering having a bonfire that Saturday night, and if you are interested you'd definitely be invited, but if you would want do something else with us, I'll scrap the idea. Or if you want to avoid us, like most sane people would ;) then I will continue with my potential bonfire planning.

While I would love to see you all, and I hope you can come to the event at the MOA, I am with folks from work. In fact, we had a run of show meeting today and we were talking about dinner Saturday night and I told them I would ask my friends who live in the area for restaurant recommendations. Any good ones??

I get in Wednesday about 7pm. The athlete we;re having at our employee event and at our booth at the MOA - Sarah Hughes (gold medalist in figure skating from 2002) will be arriving Thursday and I may need to entertain her otherwise I would see about meeting for drinks and dinner. I could possibly also meet on Friday night as others will be in town to hang with her. Will keep you all posted.

So tonight my parents and my brother came into town to go to dinner. We went to hottie bartender's restaurant, which is one of the nicest, high end steak houses in the city. Hottie bartender wasn't there but I knew the other bartenders there. Anyway, I figured they would comp my martini and they gave me a dessert with a candle. Turns out, they comped the entire meal, for the four of us. I was stunned! Totally not expected. Not a bad birthday overall!

What kind of restaurant are you looking to visit? There are a few places within the MOA itself that you could visit, and some places nearby. It all depends on what you want - up scale, mid scale, or Johnny Rockets. Is the intent to not use a car to get to your restaurant? If you have a car, there's a family run place about five miles SSE of the mall, Jensen's Supper Club, that's excellent, but most visitors will never go to it because it's south of the MN River.

bbdl: We can meet at my place beforehand. I have nothing going on. And do let me know if the bonfire is a go on that day.

I will never have anything to do with Apple if I don't have to. Especially iTunes.

Has she met MNS? :D

I think most of us are pretty flexible, so if you're available just let us know.

We would be, well at least MNS and I (sorry MNS, I'm volunteering you) would be willing to take BOTH you AND the figure skater out. :p

Ok, that is what I'll probably plan on doing. I'll call you beforehand. Fiance is driving me, so I have to work it out with her.
