They were cranking out your kinda music (the rawr murderous gutteral yelling vocals/heavy guitar). :)

That describes quite a bit of rock music (and for the better). :)

But seriously, if it's not death metal or similar, odds are I can find redeeming qualities (with some exceptions in each decade).

Thanks for the congratulations everyone! I told my fiance (not used to this yet) last night when I did a quick driveby of the lodge that all of my internet friends were congratualting us. :)

Is there a non-Ghetto part of Broadway? That's the area that I get near, and I close my windows of my truck, and make no stops.
Broadway runs pretty far north as I recall. Although I think it switches to a route name (like 81 or something). Only that part from north of downtown to like Lowry is really ghetto.

I used to play broomball just off of Broadway, in Nordeast, on the eastern end of the Dead Presidents neighborhood. I never had any troubles or worries through that section of town. I forget the name of the park now, but I could find it on a map.

Broadway runs East-West....does it turn north at some point? If it does, I didn't know that it did.

I guess we were in that neighborhood on Saturday to go to Indeed Brewing. Didn't have any problems but I did make a comment about it "looking like Detroit around here".
