More importantly, I wonder how smooth your dance moves are..........

Back in the day I was big into metal. I grew up on the stuff in the1980's. Long hair and I could headbang with the best of them ( if I were to headbang today I'm quite sure my neck would snap). My playlist to this day still favors it but I haven't followed much since then. My two boys will request some of my music once in a while.

I was walking out the door by the time the automated system was calling my number. :p Spent maybe 5 minutes at the counter.

Gorgeous day in 952land. Headed over to the parents' later this afternoon for mom's bday, then off to bbdl's for his gf's bday. Get to see their new puppy. Then tomorrow night it's a dinner party at Divadork's, and get to see their new puppy.

Of course sooner or later divadork and bb_dl are going to set up a playdate for their puppies sooner or later.

If I have a bass strapped on (how's that for a visual?) I'm pretty good. Without it? Yeah. Not so much.

I had somewhat burned out on metal a couple of years ago and joined my "main" band (link in sig), but I started this other metal thing as kind of a once-a-week jam session and it's been an absolute blast. No pressure, no rush. We've had the opportunity to have a couple of world-class guitarists come jam with us, and we've recorded six songs to demo out. Suddenly labels are approaching us (real ones, not the "super evil recording company grrr!" kind of crap), and it's looking like we might actually release an album.

Good evening Lodge.

Watched The Butler this evening. I had no idea what the movie was about before I went to it. In the beginning it lead you to believe that it was based entirely on a true story. I have a feeling that most of the story had a Hollywood spin put on it. Decent movie with an impressive cast. Five of ten stars. :)
