Hmm, hadn't thought of that. We were told to never put him in his kennel as a form of punishment, because that is supposed to be his happy place that he wants to go, but maybe this wouldn't be punishment, it would be post-punishment....


Also, I just got my first call from a corporate head-hunter, from a specific company (one of our big competitors). On my work phone...which is odd, because I don't really give out my work phone on places like linked in or other places someone like that could find it. I said I would call them back, because I'm curious, and I wasn't about to spend a bunch of time talking to them at work, on my work phone. I've gotten emails, and linked in messages before from generic firms that do this thing, for positions that are not anywhere within my interest areas, but this one was different. From the actual company, a direct competitor, in my field, and a phone call instead of a cookie cutter email.

It's not punishment... you're giving him "quiet" time to calm down... a time-out if you will. The kennel is supposed to be his "safe" place, and he shouldn't pee in it (though he may have an occasional accident).

Awesome. That is a bucket list item for me.

Nice part about Wheel is you don't have to win the main game to keep your winnings. You can finish dead last and still clean up with a decent total.

At tonight's Patriots-Bucs pre season game in my company's swanky suite. Because it's a pre season game. Just had some lamb chops, turkey, bacon wrapped scallops among other stuff. Wondering what they'll have for dessert.

Week. Is. Done. One more semi-torturous thing to do this weekend (DMV for tabs) and then it's happyfuntime. DMV shouldn't be too bad. I always show up right at opening, mid-month, on a Sat. Longest I've waited in the past 7 years (how long I've lived at my current place) has been 20 minutes.

Not that any of you *******s really care, but a band I play with is pretty close to signing with a label you've probably heard of, and we may have just found a singer, someone that... well, some of you may have heard of. So go me.

I don't believe I have anyone who still posts here on facebook.

Regahdless, the singer is from a fairly popular metal band and he just sent a rough demo tonight. It sounded great and I can't wait for him to come play with us. Then it's just a matter of convincing a label to give us about $10,000 to record an album. Simple, right?

Pretty jealous. Can't wait to fly up to NYC for the Bucs opener at the Jets Sept 8. And Red Sox @ Yanks the 2 days before that.
