Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

Good morning Lodge!! What a beautiful day!

Went to my parents house for dinner last night. My aunt from Florida is still here and she was making this Greek dish that I absolutely love so I invited myself. She made it differently than my mother does and it was not very good (though everyone else seemed to like it). There was plenty left over and my mother said "Want to take some home?" I did, but not sure if I will eat it.

Good morning Lodge.

Edit.

Another tropical day here in 320ville. I went outside about 7am and it was already hot with dew point at 73.

I was spent last night. The g family went for a bike ride yesterday of about 20 miles. I was out cold around 9:30 last night.

We were contemplating going to the state fair today. Not in this weather. No way. Mrs. g is decided to spend a chunk of the day getting her classroom ready (went in about 6:30 this morning) and her school does not have AC. The boys and I voted to spend the day at the lake.

Morning. Getting ready for my FFL draft. Draft should take about 5 hours or so (it's an in-person draft for most of the league; only a couple out-of-towners draft online). For some of the league, it's the one time of year we all see each other, so that's kind of cool.

Good Afternoon, Lodge!

Survived the in-laws. They have limited air conditioning which made it unbearable being there.

Went to my 10 year class reunion last night. It sucked, for the most part. But at least I look better now than in high school, and I had a pretty dang good looking fiance on my arm, so I think I did well in the unofficial judging contest that happens at these sort of things. :p Some other people....wow, 10 years did not do them too well. I was surprised that the 2 D1 hockey players from my class actually showed up. We spent most of the time BSing with the group of friends I actually stay in touch with, since I didn't really care to talk to any of the other people there. Luckily, we had plenty of beer, and the food was decent.

edit: there were hipsters there too. They suck.

I went to a wedding yesterday. All the white people were seated in the back. Then, there was bowling. And it was everything Mr. and Mrs. The Darkness wanted. :)
