Had a hard time falling asleep... Considering moving into a 2 bedroom in Alexandria... Things to consider, etc

Good Morning Lodge.

I'm supposed to go examine an existing building in preparation for a remodel. Gonna be a little warm in the boiler room and on the roof today. Not looking forward to it.

It's pretty noisy in Cairo these days. I don't know if Alexandria is any better. ;)

Good morning Lodge. It's gray and kinda rainy here today. Thought it was supposed to be warm and sunny. Currently at the doctor for another post op appointment. It's 8:39, appointment was for 8:30. Supposed to get X-rays. I have to get to work so he better show up soon.

Saw a clip of Miley at the VMA's. Because, why would I actually watch an award show? Used to be MTV wanted that type of thing, but now she will probably never be invited back.

Interview with school district today. No expectations.

According to the news, she did something called "twerking". I've not seen the video, and I have no idea what a "twerk" is.

This weather is way too hot. I'd like to decrease all forecasted numbers by 10. There's this small table I want to build, but I have to setup the new table saw I just bought (got a great deal on it). With the heat being what it is, and my shoulder firing up in the pain department a fair amount over the weekend, I just don't want to go into my garage and deal with all of it.

There's a new girl in the office today. Kind of cute, far from hot.

I have no idea what "twerking" is either. Probably don't want to know.

I have to get a door stained and varnished in the garage, before bringing it in and installing it, as the last work to be done in the room we've remodeled. I put it off yesterday because it was 130 degrees in the garage. Can't put it off today, since my mom is coming up to help out this afternoon, and we're going to try to get as much done as possible. I need to get that room done this week because my fiance is moving in on Friday, and we need that room to put her stuff in, and turn it into a spare bedroom.

The biggest frustration we're facing right now with the room are the closet doors. I got them all stained and varnished, they look great. Took them inside last Friday, was going to install them. I ended up finding out that the doorway is about 1 3/8" too narrow. The doorway is 72" wide, and the only size doors you can buy are 36" or smaller, in 2" increments. I have 2 36" doors, and they don't fit, because each door needs more than 36" to work properly. The reason the doorway is too small is because the previous owners put sheetrock on the inside of the doorway, narrowing the doorway by about an inch total. So we have to pull the sheetrock off of the inside of the door fram, and mount the doors directly to the 2x4 door frame, and then use trim to make it look presentable. Its just going to be a huge pain to cut out the sheetrock we can't have there, and not mess up the rest of it.

mmmmmm...... Morning....

Nothing quite like the excitement of being awaken with the pronouncement that a horse is loose. Grain truck was making a delivery and it spooked little miss flower, our new filly and she knocked some boards out of the round pen she was in out and and was loose. thankfully, got her corralled without too much of a hassle.

It doesn't matter if she thinks she is. Millions of 16-22 year old guys and millions more perverted 40-60 year old guys think she is.
