Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

11 minutes into the day and I already want my shovel.

I was up at 5:30, out the door at 6:25 for the 40 mile drive to Plymouth. Perfect traffic, of course. Arrived at the annoying customer from last week for the makeup training session at 7:10. Grabbed a McD's breakfast and waited almost 40 minutes for the joint to open up.

Mornings like that are Five Hour Energy mornings. I like coffee in moderation, but FHE is the only energy cocktail that ever actually did the job for me.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

I was awakened by my stomach at 4 AM, expressing its disapproval of what I ate last night. I get to the office only to find that the information we requested from our client, in order to get their issue taken care of, was about as organized as a mud puddle, and they clearly did not have their **** together. This guy drives me nuts in the first place. That, some water damage at the office, and the boss thinking he needed to call me 3 times in 7 minutes about Mickey Mouse crap that has nothing to do with anything, forcing me to put down what I was doing, made me call for the tool most used for snow removal.

Tempted to give both of you a large cake with the instructions to eat the whole d-mn thing.

That's what I like about baking... I can't get rid of your problems, but I can make you forget about them for a few minutes.

Good evening Lodge.

Google "Shreddies video" then watch it. I gave a presentation today which revolved around this marketing gem. Canadians................

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

So, I've been here in Atlanta to shoot a video. I'm working on a pin program for our employees and since many employees don't really understand the whole pin trading and collecting culture around the Olympics we're building an internal web site wig background information, etc. and came down here to meet and tape a few pin collectors.

Tuesday I met with the segment producer and his boss and they decided that I should be the focus of the video, the host, so to speak. I had to do this on a day's notice. Good times. We spent the entire day filming and ended up at Turner Field. I got in the dugout and on the field. It was a lot of fun. Looking forward to heading home tomorrow though.

Sounds about right for a financial products campaign. Our new "Extra Free Checking" Better than the old free checking.

Happy Birthday Mel!

Howdy Lodge. Getting ready to board my flight home. Will make it home in time to relax for a bit before hockey tonight. Game is sold out so I am bringing my second ticket so no one will sit in my second seat. I hate when people assume that.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

Very last gate in terminal? Check. Baby on board? Check. Though not screaming. Let's see how long that lasts.
