I just found out that a friend from high school died Sunday. :( He was a good guy, had two kids, a boy and a girl. A friend in common came across his obit. today, and it just said he "died in his home." Looking at his Facebook page, and he was looking really thin, and some comments made it look like he'd been sick for a long while.

I won't get that. I sent one as a constituent that is very concerned over a few bills that have been recently introduced, and I felt I needed to voice my opinion. It wasn't harshly worded or anything, he's one of the good guys, and I'm sure he'd have already voted the way I would want, but I still felt the letter was necessary.

My state house rep sends out a monthly update of things happening during session. I already know he's going to vote against the governor's proposals. My state senator is Dave Thompson. Without asking or receiving any sort of statement from him, I know he's going to vote the same as my state rep.

I am begging and pleading a girl that one of my friends wants to let him know it isn't going to happen. I am friends with both and this really sucks.

I think that they are currently third on my list after Union and CCT. You're probably fourth. When I was in college they were number 1 due to Harkness having abandoned us for the Faux Red.
