Good Afternoon Lodge.

Most dominant team in college hockey will be on BTN at 2:30 CST today. The 35-0 Gopher women.

College basketball is becoming increasingly more difficult to watch, it has become unbelievably more putzy.

Did two test drives at the auto show... VW and Toyota... The test drive girl at the vw teat drive was a Swedish cutie... *sigh*

Here at my niece's dance competition. She had three numbers today-4:40, 5:10 and 8:00. They're running close to an hour and a half behind schedule. Her last number won't be till close to 9:30 now.

She had her solo last night. Supposed to be at 10:10pm but didn't go on till after 10:30. I thought she nailed it but there was a minor slip that was barely noticeable. She was so upset with herself yet the performance won a Gold Champion medal. At her last competition she got a High Silver so it was a better performance. I was live tweeting during it trying to be funny ragging on the others and it bothered her. I feel bad that I made her so upset. My brother texted me today to not tweet tonight. Too bad cuz there are some tweet-worthy performances tonight.

Making fun of kids! For shame! That's something I would do. :p

Congrats to the niece!

Got notification that my jury duty postponement was granted, so no worrying about some Casey Anthony case ruining my F5. That's one less thing to worry about now. Bonus: the 2 week window includes Memorial Day, so that's also one less day I have to worry about. (Yes, I did plan that when requesting the postponement dates) :D

Best time to move jury duty to is December. No one wants to have to worry about a trial at Christmas, so a lot of cases get moved to after the holidays and there's a good chance you'll be sent home.

NOW you tell me! Actually, Christmastime was just outside the 9-month limit for postponement, if my math is right. I think the latest I could have done would have been around Thanksgiving time, but that's also around the time I plan on being in AZ to support Sloe Gin/Quiz on their quest to finish the AZ Triathalon.

At the girlfriend's 30th birthday party here with a couple, pans worth of jello shot's. I'm feeling just good enough right now to worry about how good things might turn out tomorrow morning. Can't be any worse than yesterday right?? Check with Jon about my yesterday. I'm not struggling thru that right now on the phone.

Three solo performers in a row. First one danced to a creepy, slow, acoustic version of You're the One That I Want, second on danced to a slow, mellow version of Whitney Houston' I Wanna Dance With Somebody and the third one to a creepy slow I Wanna Hold Your Hand. And the Dunkin' Donuts I walked to was closed.

Five more numbers till she's on.
