Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #160: Resolute in 2013

I'll be glad this week is over at work. Actually, I find myself saying that a lot lately. A couple of the these current projects really need to end.

Good Morning Lodge.

Wasn't your back sore or something? I'm just teasing, anyhow:p

Edit: just saw Greyeagle's post:p

I do have chronic back trouble (herniated disc at L5-S1, deteriorated discs on the two above that) and it was giving me trouble that day. I was going to try and skate anyway, but when GE need my helmet it was an easy decision to stay on the bench. Jr skated for me.

Good Morning, Lodge!

I love it how people cannot get a life outside of a hockey internet message board. Got a text message from you know who asking why I agree with scsutommyboy.

Why would you let "you know who" have your phone #?

Morning!

Beautiful weekend shaping up here in Pitt. Sposed to be 60+ both Saturday and Sunday. Nice little winter thaw.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #160: Resolute in 2013

My coworker has been sick with the flu for about 5 days. He got a flu shot. I have been around people sick with the flu for about 3 weeks (starting with my cousin at Christmas), haven't felt anything less than 100%. I don't waste my time with a stupid flu shot. I don't know why people get them, they're pointless, and they don't work. Maybe people should just not have an immune system that sucks ***.

Flu shots are 60-80% effective if you get one of the strains of the flu that it covers. So I agree, they are pointless.

You work with my co-worker, too?

I hate needles, and I think the flu shot is pointless, so obviously no flu shot for me. (and before you ask, tatt needles are different for me; dunno why, they just are)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #160: Resolute in 2013

I used to be afraid of needles, until I had to have one put in my eyelid. Ya, not so much afraid of a shot in the arm anymore.

I'm not a real big fan of needles. Not scared of them, and I don't really have a problem with them if I need a shot, or to have blood drawn, but if given the choice, I'll take not getting a shot. I actually hate those **** finger *****er things more than needles, and I don't know why. They slightly hurt for about a second then its back to normal, but I still hate them.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #160: Resolute in 2013

Also, I really feel sorry for you relatively normal (as far as I can tell) SCSU fans. Do you have to put up with that kind BS all the time?

Those finger things are horrible, horrible things. And JF: in the eye?! Ugh, I can't even watch people put in their contact lenses. Combine a needle and putting something into your eye?! *shudder*
