Good Morning Lodge!
Good Morning Lodge!

I saw it on TV, but only because of Molly Ringwald.Sooooo, Dave and I are the only ones who saw the classic John Hughes movie Sixteen Candles then? Sure. Fine.
How do I tell hottie bartender he needs to trim his beard? It's getting to be too....much, and it's threatening his hottie status. Well, not really. But he needs to fix that.
Good Morning everyone!
So, Lil is going tot eh Semi tonight. He is running in the All State meet tom'w so he and his date got permission to leave the dance early (what a CF trying to get that OK's was!). I have to go pick them up. No experience with having been on a date that a parent drives or being a parnet that drives. This is the first time they have been out. It is 45 minute ride to get her home. WteeeF. Any etiquette pointers on how I am supposed to handle the chauffeur role?
Lil will tell you "If I make my Mum a grandmother then she will be a great grandmother and I will be a dead father"Tell lots of stories about patients with horrible STDs.

Johnny Holm plays anything that gets the audience going. Hell, he played "Shipping Up To Boston" on St Pat's Day; kinda surprised me that that song was in his wheelhouse.
I actually did know that T-Day Eve was the 2nd busiest bar day of the year. Holiday.....relatives.....and usually no Eve festivities like on Christmas....yeah, probably gonna want a drink.
Looking forward to the long, peaceful weekend.
I know how to make it an excruciatingly bad experience. I would like to be a nice Mum and not do thatMorning Lodge.
C'mon! Every parent knows that this is when you tell all the most embarrassing stories from lil's childhood!
And it took me a while to figure out what "tot eh Semi" is.
And I think I've seen Sixteen Candles, but I certainly don't remember any lines from it.
Jr will do a light skate at his team's practice today, first time out since he got hurt last Sunday. Then he and I will race to the Gophers-BADgers game.
I got something in mind to say, but you ain't repeating it and probably don't want to read it... So I'll keep it to myselfGood Morning everyone!

I remember two things from that movie. First, the girl's whining about not getting special attention for turning 16...I think. Second, "No more yanky my wanky!" That's all I know about the movie. I don't think I've ever seen it from start to finish.Sooooo, Dave and I are the only ones who saw the classic John Hughes movie Sixteen Candles then? Sure. Fine.
Not everybody can pull off dizzying levels of both hockey and high culture knowledge.![]()

Great. I just received a news blast from my company that four blocks away there's been gunfire reported. It's just next to the Target store downtown here, technically in the Retek building.
