When is final five? I am off the boat March 21- April 4 and am intrigued by shenanigans.

Good Morning Lodge.

Well, another entertaining visit to the ER last night. Jr got boarded and looks like bruised some ribs, shoulder blade, or something. No break seen on x-rays.

In other news, got a little snow last night (just dusting) and some puddles froze so now us old guys have to walk carefully so we don't wind up in the ER too.

At the tailgate Saturday we did "breakfast shots". I had not tried this before, but it was half Jameson half Butterscotch schnapps with an orange juice chaser. Tastes like pancakes. Delicious. Only problem was, no buzz, just felt sick by the time I got to the game.

March 21-23
In theory, I could go to the Final Five and be back in Detroit for the CCHA championship game on Sunday the 24th. This seems tempting.

S'upp y'all

Ah... I start sending around off board e-mails to get a handle on the situation. All that truly matters is going from Point A to Point B.

I have been up twice (frozen four & regional). I stayed in downtown mpls (W) and airport(Marriott). Cabs from W to X were 18/25. From airport 22/30. Both times hotels near X were stupidly priced ($229/n for tick tock inn). Cheaper to stay elsewhere + cab. Also, as Brent says, tailgate before and Reid's after are two city block walks away. But the boot place is between the cities so you'll cab there one night (worth it :)). Then we were in cabs downtown mpls another night (went Brent checked a car :D) and the scene is much better there than stp so ill imagine that will be an option as well.

Morning.

Saw Skyfall yesterday. Was pretty good.

As far as public transit from downtown MSP to downtown STP for the Final Five, getting there is easy. You can take the 94 express bus (10 min ride) for $2.25. Getting back to the hotel after midnight, you would need a cab unless you enjoy hour+ long bus rides on the 6 (non express) route.

Morning!! The girlfriend's dog is a blanket hog.

Only one more day to babysit him.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #157: Hockey Watching Habits

Why would you let the dog (pet) sleep in the bed with you?
Because he's a spoiled brat, and when he's here, he's suppose to stay in my room. and when he came in last night, mostly because he was crashed out on the couch with mom for most of the night, I was too out of it to say much about it. He stayed on top of the blanket and seemed to pull it all towards him during the night.
