Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #157: Hockey Watching Habits

Good Morning Lodge.

Congrats to lil! Great job!

Didn't spend too much at the fund raiser for BSM School last night (other than the tickets which were **** expensive in themselves). I didn't spend $4,000 for dinner at the home of two of the teachers as some others did, nor $2,000 for a front row parking spot at school for a year, or $3,500 for tickets to the US open. They raised some serious ching at the live auction. I bought tickets to a local dinner theater and an autographed poster of Jordan Leopold, paid less than stated value for each.

We went to those at STA, jaw-dropping the money spent. Simply amazing. $10k for a trip to and tour of Rome with a Priest (including an audience with the Pope) connected to the school was the one that stood out to me - and it didn't include airfare.
I think in four years we picked up a few things each year but don't recall exactly other than a Blue Ray player. Best was Jr's SO year when a local media mogul invited us to join her at the table she bought. :)

CJ? :D

Crappy weather out today after a warm Saturday. Freezing rain is never fun.

Is it too early to start planning for the final final 5?

I usually like setting hotel and airfare 2-3 months in advance

No. I thought I heard the Crowne Plaza is already booked full. You probably should have started planning a couple months ago.

Can we get Giada to cook for the *HT or at least visit? I have been spending a lot of time there lately. :(

Gotta love the disclaimer at the end of the Ford Fusion Hybrid commercial: "Do not attempt. Cars cannot fly"

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #157: Hockey Watching Habits

Game is less than a minute old and I'm already headed to the *HT. Big rivalry game, full arena, sure, lets cough up a goal the first minute of play.

GameTracker still shows 0-0, so I'm going to stick with that. :p
