Also, I can feel my tolerance dropping with the losing of the weight and such.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #156: The Ultimate Showdown

230 bu/acre corn and 60 bu/acre beans all coming out of the field dry, so no need to run it through the dryer. We're in the tiny sliver of the country that actually has both decent soil and got enough rain this season. Bumper crop at $9 corn and $19 beans...its the season dreams are made of.

and nobody with even an ounce of self respect would get into a red combine
Sorry, was thinking you equipment was International Harvester Red, not John Deere Green. Probably mixed you up with the Co-op that leases our field here.

Yeah, your dreams this year are from a lot of other people's nightmares this year. Lot of corn around here didn't really get much higher than my belly button, and a lot of it has been chopped for cattle feed. And what did produce ears I kind of wonder just how well they're going to run thru a modern combine that expects the ears to be pretty close to a standard size. The beans looked like they tolerated the lack of rain, but I would expect that the yields on them are going to be down.

Pfffft. I've thought that shirt was hilarious since the day it came out.

Good, good. I thought it was hilarious too. I haven't seen you post something THAT obviously controversial, though (could be my bad).

Speaking of that, can we meet at your place before TK's? I can drive from there, but I want to drop off a bag so I don't leave it in the truck later. I need to drive because I might have to go find a place to draft if I can't use an outlet for power at TK's. My battery won't last for 3 hours.

Biddco, I'm planning on being at the bar all night, so if you want to come over I'll probably be there. Send a text first, make sure I didn't have to run off somewhere to get my draft done.
Sounds great. I'll probably send a text around 6 and stop by after 6.

Good Morning Lodge.

More bantam tryouts tonight. I'm not volunteering though, just watching. And more tomorrow and then Sunday and finally done then (I hope).

Both Mrs goldy and goldy Jr. have bad colds. I'm pounding zinc, C, B and trying to avoid it. I'm sure I'll get it, but hope it's not as bad as they have it. And Mrs goldy gets to fly to PA tomorrow to see to her dad. Jr and I will be batching it for a week.

Definitely John Deere Green. Brand new (as of the start of the year), and it cost more than a Ferrari.

If they're smart, they're insured. They won't get a lot, but insurance will be enough to get them through the year.

FIIF. Gotta run some errands, but as was posted, superhappyfuntime tonight. Time to get rid of some stress and unwind.
