Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #155: Back to School

Morning.

80% chance of rain for the Pirates game tomorrow. The one game I have tickets too. :(

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #155: Back to School

Good Morning Lodge.

Earthquake in California.

And it woke you up on MN???

Let's see, a chance to go to a town I dislike to see one team I grew up disliking and one I have grown to hate play each other. Hmmm. No Scarlet, I don't think I'm going to GF either, even with you going there. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #155: Back to School

He has internet through his phone. No need for another supplier.
Yeah, exactly. I only needed cable. If you add my Verizon bill (cell phone with data package) and cable it comes to about $145/month. I don't pay any extra for internet, I just use FoxFi to turn my data into a wireless router, and since I have unlimited data still, I'm good.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #155: Back to School

Uuuuuugggghhh. I'm staying out of DI for a while. :(

Anyway, my godson texted me at 10:45pm last night to let me know he can't come to the Red Sox game with me tonight. Even though I asked him last Thursday and texted him on Tuesday, he waits till last night late to tell me his RA is taking the floor out to dinner for an orientation thing. So now I have no one to go to the game with tonight. I may go myself and provide play by play. Or I may just go home.

GE - safe travels here. Sunday's weather looks to be rain in the morning but is supposed to clear so you may be OK for the Sox game. Have fun!!

Wellbutrin? Abilify?....

I can think of some stronger ones...

I was at a statistics in sports conference where an old man was badgering me about going into microfilm records to track down pre-1900s baseball data... Sorry, have better things to do in my life.

Frank Wilson has a baseball-obsessed twin? :)

Is it sad that the lodge has so many members who are experts on psychoactive medications?

On what? I have no idea what a psychoactive medication is...the only medications I use are booze and ibuprofin, and in series, not parallel. Occasionally dabble in Nyquil and Dayquil if I have a cold.

S'upp y'all

Why couldn't this task force come out with their findings in the summer? Why wait a couple weeks before the season starts?

This is why you need to move to Michigan and become a Tiger fan. You'd always have someone to go to a game with.

As if I didn't tempt fate enough last night , I'm working the penalty box again tonight.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #155: Back to School

This afternoon is going to be awesome, one engineer is leaving after today and management has yet to find a replacement for him or tell the customer he's leaving. I was asked to but I told them i can once Im finished with my current project and start on that one on Sept 24. The best thing i keep hearing is that Im being resistive to help out from the project manager. Well b!itch I've told everyone that I will be available on the 24th and Im not going to double book myself and let my project slip, and with our OTD right now they need all the help they can to get it up.

You should take sticks in trade for shovels at the PB door. That would sure make the game interesting.

Afternoon, Lodge. Grumpy Friday.

*bleep*

Mr. wore Black called me and said his car is almost completely dead. This time we have to replace it, unless someone here can fix a transmission for little to no costs. We have $6k left on my car. This looking for a second job thing just kicked into high gear.

What, specifically, is wrong with the tranny? There might be some things that can be done to get a little more life out of it.
