Should you and gmann get a room?
gmann, picture link works fine for me here. Dunno what's wrong.
Evening, Lodge. Fair todayStarted with cheese curds, ended with Sweet Martha's Cookies, walked all over the *ing fairgrounds.
gmann: Just tried posting it. Works for me so far. Quote the post and copy it.
Did she have the surgery for it?
W t f? The computer and the Internet are stupid just like the state fair.
Oatmeal and raisins called, they want to know why you hate America.
I'm surprised they'd take it out of the case at the U of M booth at the fair for the day to bring it over there. I'd think they would have done something like that before the fair. The world's greatest trophy made an appearance at the global HQ for Tacky & Abrasive today.
Sadly, I had a meeting and could not get down to see it.![]()
Its trailer lighting. The same wires that go to bulbs of lights on your car go to the plug for the trailer, this isn't rocket science.Savannah, GA for the night, 1272 miles down, 353 to go!! Another uneventful day, very little traffic.
Amusing, found out my car is essentially "too smart" for a u-haul trailer. While I haven't had my car completely double-checked to make sure it isn't an issue on my side, a VW service manager in NC told me that he has seen issues with my model and U-haul trailers where the car simply isn't compatible with the lighting on the trailer. Go figure, **** German engineering is too smart for its own good!! Soooo I continue with my daylight driving restrictions and hope that my running lights can keep me from being pulled over. 95% interstate tomorrow, so hopefully the no traffic trend continues.

She did not. Her doctor started her on specific prescription glasses and she showed improvement every 6 months & her eyes have been improving without surgery. Unfortunately a few years ago he left MN for an offer he could not refuse at BU, he's now chair of the department at BU.I suspect she's mentioned in at least one of the articles (see link), every time he saw her there were a gaggle of interns/students/other doctors in the room, too.
We've continued the treatment with good luck and she can now wear contacts, which makes her very happy.![]()
Or he's not looking at your eyes...My surgeon died before I was discharged!
I had a surgery at 6 months and one at 6 years. Wore glasses in between. Ended up with glasses at 11 for nearsightedness... Honestly, with contacts now, I can feel my eye straying, but with glasses I'm fine. I told my boyfriend of 4 months about it the other day, and he had never even noticed, so maybe I'm just more self conscious? Not sure. Far better than it used to be though.
So in other words, VW took something that's fairly pretty simple, and had to complicate it all so that it doesn't work? That sounds like something the Italians would do!!That's what I thought too, but wasn't what I was told by a VW tech over the phone today. He said I could go in and they could tweak the programming to try making this trailer work, but it would essentially just be a bandaid, and that it was quite possible that a future trailer wouldn't work then, so I would have to do it all over again. I think I finally found the fuse #'s for the trailer module, so I am checking that in the am. VW is incredibly secretive about their stuff, there isn't a fuse diagram in my owners manual, and several other things you need to really look around to get info for.
