Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #154: Olympics

Well, the latest tropical system and I might be getting to know one another a bit better than I would like to next week.

Good Morning Lodge.

Almsy - it's Kennedy on this team. The 4 best players on this summer team were from the Kennedy A bantams (which makes them B1 players in EP, Edina or Jefferson ;)).

Yeah, but the problem here is that it does set a president for birthday gifts now. Pretty much means that you'll have to really come up with great stuff every year. And there's only so many Goofer roadtrips you could take her on that would be cool in the future. East Lansing and Ann Arbor really ain't as cool of a trip as Anchorage is.
Nah I don't think she expects this kind of thing every year. I told her that the reason I went all out this year is because this is the last year she'll be able to do it, and she told me that it was something she wanted to do sometime, way back in May.

Actually, I was worried it was too early in the relationship for this big of a gift. But it isn't.

Using the airline points though, it's not an expensive gift. Though I can see the worry that a vacation is a big gift. Awesome idea though. I'm sure you'll have fun, even if you have to go to a Gophers game.

My friends and I used airline miles for our Fairbanks and Anchorage trips.

This year my friend is using his hotel points to get us a hotel near Times Square in NYC, Thanksgiving weekend. Going to the Michigan vs. Cornell game at Madison Square Garden. I would prefer this game to be at Lynah, that's next on my rinks I want to see a game at.

That's pretty much what I'm expecting.

Well you could be getting your wisdom teeth pulled so look at the bright side.

Eta: When I had mine pulled I walked over to student health and the dental school and walked back to the frat when it was over. Daddy didn't drive me.

To be fair, cars hadn't been invented yet.

Good morning Lodge.

Spending the day with the boys and we are getting ready to go for a bike ride and then we will go for a pontoon ride.

Lads teeth pulled successfully. He's a little loopy still.......had to advise him the jackhammer is not in his brain but instead our neighbor decided to have their front steps removed today.

We're watching Crimson Tide, forgot I had picked up the Blue Ray a couple weeks ago.
