Morning everyone. Tough day here in the 'co household. Fiancee's dog of 14 years is sick with a spinal cord/brain tumor and is going to be put down. My theory is that losing your first dog and or your childhood dog is extra tough. It's gonna be a long day.

Sorry man....

Sorry, man. Condolences. :(

Evening, Lodge.

Echoed condolences to the Biddlyn. :(

Evening, Lodge. In theory, the gf should be flying back into MSP from a visit to her folks tonight. In practice, she might get stuck in Milwaukee if AirTran doesn't have their act together.

I flew Airtran once. And that was the last time. Even if it was still a Boeing/Airbus/etc. it felt like I was flying in a made-in-China POS sold at the local Wal-Mart. Yuck.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #154: Olympics

Went for a walk on Adrian College campus. I can tell that students are coming back on campus...Passed a couple that was stoned like a gravel road.

If I ever troll a college campus as a 50-year old bald guy with a mullet, driving a 15-year old Camaro convertible with about a 3 foot spoiler on the *** end, blaring Foreigner from the speakers, someone beat me with a shovel and put me out of my misery.

Live the dream, baby!

She has been preparing for this day for a couple years so that helps. Toby's death was sudden and not expected.

Thanks for the kind thoughts. I worry about the day my childhood Basset Hound will need to go, thats not that far away.
Yeah, the family pet going is always tough. Its one of the few times when its acceptable for a man to cry, and not be made fun of by his friends.

why would anybody need to fly into Akron????

This one was more like a '96-'97 or so. That generation.

This guy tonight hit every stereotype of Creepy Old Guy. Every joke has its truth, but this was unreal.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #154: Olympics
