I think we are covered, still, with PB having a room. But another room never hurts (esp at those prices; just remember to say you're with the Gopher hockey group to get a discount).

And Rounders is a great movie. A very VERY similar movie in plot, but involving billiards/pool is "Pool Hall Junkies." PHJ actually came out first, but was not as star-driven.

I'm considering getting another room. I'm pretty sure I can get one, and then if we don't need we can cancel it within about 48 hours at a minimum.

Haven't seen your billiards movie, but regardless, Rounders is friggin awesome. Also, Brent, take my advice in the movies thread seriously. God Bless America is one of the best I've seen in a while.

I took note, and if you want to borrow Pool Hall Junkies, you can. I own the muthaf*a. :D It does have Chazz Palmerterni or whatever the hell his name is, and the guy from Silver Spoons. Oh, and Christopher Walken. :D

Edit: the first time I saw Rounders, I didn't know poker. It's so much better when you know the nuances. So much better.

Scottsdale is probably the easiest course on that game. :p

I shot like 46 on one of the Tiger Woods games before they made them much tougher. :p

greens in regulation (par minus 2) ie: on the green in 2 shots on a par 4. Fairway in regulation. On the fairway with your drive.

Heading off to Motown for a couple of days. Flight's at 12:30. Going to Greektown for dinner, then to Oakland Hills CC for the tournament tomorrow. Hope the weather holds. I'd say I'll chat with you in a couple of days, but you know me. I'll always find a way to post from where I am. :)

Am I a bad person because I want the USA men's basketball team to lose in the gold medal game?

I am not a fan of basketball and I could really care less about the sport. However, I found the following tweet from Larry Bird to be quite humorous and spot on regarding the Dream Team debate and who could beat who ..............."They probably could. I haven't played in 20 years and we're all old now."

Good Morning, Lodge!

Didn't do so well yesterday at the art market, but is was so nice to sit outside all day. I find it hilarious when people come up to my work and say "this is gorgeous" and walk away.

I understand why people would do that. If they like the work, but have nowhere to put it in their homes, it's better that they don't buy because then it could likely just be tossed into the closet and never appreciated. Back in the day, my mom would have bought the art and the exact scenario I described would have come to fruition. Many times over.

At the gate. I have a funny feeling I won't get on this flight. When I booked I couldn't select seats. When I checked in online this morning it said I had to get my seat assignment at the gate. The........never mind. They just called me and I got my seat. Yay! Now I can get something to eat.
