Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #154: Olympics

Good Morning, Lodge!

Getting ready for another Artist's Market tomorrow down the road from the Minnesota State Fair Grounds.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #154: Olympics

They are out. But I'm still up for it. I'd be up for doing like last year, and taking the bus from the park'n'ride by my place.
Depending on what the final plan is, I might not be doing the park and ride thing. Public transportation makes me throw up a little in my mouth.

No, but the ultimate client might be. I have missed those, what are they?

It's tourism promotion for the city. Basically they show all of these famous things you'd normally associate with American or European culture, and then they say, "Baku."

I know they have been trying to build their tourism industry. Baku is in the top 10 world "party cities" rating by some group or other. It does look pretty interesting and I wouldn't mind visiting. It's the 22 hour trip there and back that I won't miss.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #154: Olympics

Morning.

It only took 6 days to get my PA ID. Even got a temporary plastic one the day I applied. No paper to carry! Amazing how slow Minnesota is at this.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #154: Olympics

I'm not in the target age range for pedo's. So I am still way ahead.
Seriously? I don't think I've ever heard anyone say anything nice about Pennsylvania. Its a state filled with rapist and dog killer quarterbacks, and a college team that condones the rape of children. Real stand up place that is.

edit: And the Flyers, and Crosby.

Jr is in another tourney next weekend and the schedule is still not up. They usually are up 10 days to 2 weeks ahead. I'd like to plan a little please.

Mrs goldy is from PA.

She had no reluctance to leave.

Yeah, but you have to go to a special store for beer and yet another for booze. One of my cousins (most of my extended family lives around the Pittsburgh area) married into a family that owned a beer store. I asked why they called liquor stores "beer" stores out there, and was told about the messed up laws.

Wow. I thought not being able to buy on Sunday sucked!
