Ok, from what I have heard, some guy didn't realize his truck was higher than the clearance for the ramp, he hit it, it collapsed. He dead now.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

Well, that was quick but chaotic:

Storm hit. Power out, in, out, in, out, in. About every 5-10 seconds, for about 2-3 minutes. Had to reset everything (modem/PS3/computer). Now it's just rainy.

I had about 15 minutes of pretty heavy rain, about 5-7 minutes of it came with high winds. I'm glad I hadn't opened my windows yet in preparation for tomorrow's weather.

I have a western-facing apt, so I knew better than to open that. Now it's barely a drizzle, and like you said, it happened really quick.

Never lost power here, but much wind came through.

I slept through whatever happened here. Saw some lightening in the distance before I fell asleep about 11. Street was damp this morning.

Morning Lodge. Off to hockey in Hudson and Somerset.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

Last night's storm took out a couple of friends' trees (although they live out in the sticks). Nothing around here, that I can see though.

I have to make a run to the dreaded mall today to get my FFL magazine. 22 years playing FFL (21 in the same league!). It's kinda weird that I've been playing longer than some of my co-workers have been alive.:o

I bought a FFL app for the iPad. I have been experimenting with it and I think I am on to something. I will no doubt have the secret weapon which will make me world champion.........,

That's about when it started. Not surprised anyone slept through it, wasn't very loud. We had the wind knock a decent sized branch off a tree, but nothing more than that.

Trying this lime a rita craze after spending the day cleaning/organizing the garage and taking the dog swimming, and then giving the dog a bath

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

So, I had no plans today other than to sit by the pool again, cuz it's hot today. Get a call from mom asking if she and dad come over to sit by the pool. "I'm making lunches, I can bring you a sandwich and I have stuffed peppers in the freezer I can bring for dinner." Yummy. At the pool to 4pm, now we're back in my place, peppers are cooking. Mom found one of my US Weeklys and is now sitting next to me commenting on EVERY article in the magazine while I'm trying to watch the Olympics and surf the net. It's like watching a movie with her. All she does is ask questions and make comments.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #153: Condiments, anyone?

Yeah....but they're bringing you a sandwich and stuffed peppers. Probably a fair trade.
