Glorious. It started raining just as I was stepping out of my apartment, and I grabbed the raincoat before thinking, "No. I *ing WELCOME this," and walked out into the rain with a giant *-eating grin on my face

The place my friends and I went to for lunch today was a Mexican restaurant. Their special? Yep, lime margaritas. Needless to say, I passed on that.

Interesting weather. 15 minutes ago it was sunny. 10 minutes ago it was still sunny, but pouring, with the rain blowing from west to east. Now it's still pouring, but the rain is now blowing from east to west. Still sunny.

Yes.
The special was because it was the drink of the day or something, so they were $3 instead of $5. They had a pretty extensive drink list as it was a neighborhood touristy place about a block from the river.

For whatever reason, I'm not tired. I really should be, with the lack of sleep last night and all the driving in the sun today. I hope it's not a delayed "hit" tomorrow or Monday.

Yes!!! The heat has finally broke here. I'm sitting here in just my shorts being comfortable, instead of sweating and sticking to the chair along with my other parts of myself sticking to myself.
That would have been my guess on it.

looking like that show just might miss Hammer in Adrian right now, unless he wants to get to somewhere that would let him get a good look at things off to the North. should hit me pretty decently, along with most of the Ann Arbor area as well.

It didn't rain a ton, nor did it really slam Ham Lake (apparently it slammed the actual Twin Cites for a short amount, and it was a different cell), but the light show lasted for an hour or two.
