Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

It didn't rain a ton, nor did it really slam Ham Lake (apparently it slammed the actual Twin Cites for a short amount, and it was a different cell), but the light show lasted for an hour or two.
Actually, I played around with the future forecast of it, looks like it might be going a little more Southeast than I thought it would be, should miss most of the Ann Arbor area, and give Hammer's lawn a good drink. I might roll back over if it turns out to be a good show, think I'm going to go get some sleep here.

Good Morning Lodge! :)

The heat wave is supposed to end today. :) :) :)

Good morning, another excellent lake day on tap.

It didn't rain a ton, nor did it really slam Ham Lake (apparently it slammed the actual Twin Cites for a short amount, and it was a different cell), but the light show lasted for an hour or two.

From that cell it rained very hard for about 15-20 minutes here in Capital City. There wasn't much wind so I didn't need to completely close the windows, which was an added bonus.

Good morning Lodge.

Breakfast has been served. French toast, fruit and of course bacon.

I am now sitting on the deck enjoying a cup of coffee. The lake is calm and a loon can be heard in the background. Going to take the kids for a pontoon ride in a bit. It's going to be a great week hanging out at the cabin.

I dunno if I'm gonna leave the couch today. After a busy last two days, I just really don't want to put forth any sort of effort to do anything, except press a button or two on various remote controls.

Last day of vacation. Probably headed to the ice rink shortly.

Used the cooler temps this morning to sleep in today. And I just got back in from a run, which is the first one I've had in a while.

Supposed to be better today but the humidity isn't gone like they promised and it is hot. Ugh

On the happier side this is the first weekend in over a month that we have all been home. Fairly lazy day. I am doing loads of laundry. The boys are doing nothing.

les - I'm sure. We're doing a 3 week rotation with the stable, committed adults (most are INV for 30days - 1 year, we have one Not Guilt by Reason of Insanity) and a 3 week rotation at the children's floor (4-18 year olds). I start with the kids floor next week for the first rotation.

Patman - I got your email. I'll respond over the next few days. I want to give it the thought and attention it deserves.

Studying the day away today. Exam tomorrow, plus homework for Tuesday's clinical. I have orientation at the new job tomorrow :D from 8:30-4:30, then exam at 6, then class at 7-9. Tuesday is clinical orientation at the new job :D from 8-1, then clinical rotation at the psych hospital from 2-9. Busy two days. :o

Hope all is well. Good to hear that the heat is finally breaking for the MN-folks. It's been brutal here. Yesterday was an unexpected day off from the old job (last day), so we went to a vineyard to check it out for wedding-y things and to use a gift certificate for a winery tour and tasting that tcbg's mom had gotten us. Wasn't brutally hot, but was absurdly humid. Good thing we tasted 10-12 wines. :) The winery was beautiful (exposed post-and-beam function room, vineyard with gazebo), but I doubt we can afford it.

Afternoon, Lodge. Nothing spectacular happening here either, though I made like RFAlph and rode my bike to work (my other, other job) this morning. ;)
