Interview postponed... This should give me at least another couple of weeks

To do what? That just seems like they're jerking you around.

Evening, Lodge. Yes, it was a mite warm out today. Glad my folks were generous enough to make ribeye, corn on the cob, and raspberries for dinner. :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

It's still 86 degrees out, and humid. This week should be oh so fun. At least it's only a 4-dayer, and hopefully they are short days due to lack of business because of the holiday.

57 here. We're glad Junuary is finally over. 4 or 5 days that we didn't hit 60, and 7 days in the 70s. Rain about double the annual average. Nice. Real nice. :(

Their office currently is missing something key to productivity so it didnt surprise me.

That is to say, they dont have any electric power.

Edit: the rest of it is a myriad of vacations and other things they mentioned prior.

Yawn!

going for a short ride to make up the mileage that I didn't get yesterday due to the heat and downed-trees blocking paths.

Good Morning, MEUSA! :)

Good Morning to the rest of tLodge! :)

I better take a shower.

No kidding, I can smell you from Kentucky. Actually, that may just be Kentucky as usual.

Morning lodge. Goldy, if you haven't done it yet, go get Ice Cream Sandwich for your phone. Some different features but seems to be quite a bit nicer. Hell, anybody with the RAZR/Maxx should go get it.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

Good Morning Lodge.

Gonna be a hot one today. Hope our building's AC holds on. I think a few offices are largely empty so internal load should be reduced, at least.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

G'morning, Loj.

I made a little money yesterday, playing four Masses. Four! By the end of the day I thought my face was going to fall off. Nice to work, tho'.

Good Morning, Lodge!

I am throwing this out there for all the Twin Cities people. Mr. wore Black's band is playing at Dean's Tavern in St. Paul on July 14. Free admission!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

Did the system update on my Razr Max and the phone got pretty hot during the download.

So, that's what the cake eaters are calling it these days. :p:D

Good morning Lodge.

Morning, Lodge. I have the week off work and it was nice waking up at 8AM.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

Best guess is this heatwave will last 'til Friday and then things should cool down into the 80s with less humidity by Sunday.

Tiny chance of storms tonight (20%); it's unclear if anything will form at all. In the event something does form, there's a real possibility of upscale growth into an MCS along with a threat of widespread wind damage.

MCS, for us non-weather geeks, does that mean multi-celled storm?
