Practice safe eating.

I very rarely use ketchup, I think we've had the same bottle for way over a year.

Spent yesterday evening and today at da lake, tis the day one dreams about when shoveling snow in February. :)
Waterskiing, swimming, kayaking, and a power nap....not a bad day at the office. :D

Just think........another month or so and summer will be in full wind down mode. :(

Took jr fishing on the St. Croix this morning. Caught a few, but kept nothing. Nice day to be on the water though. Then detoured to WI to some blowing up stuff that is illegal in MN. I wonder how JF's travel went today.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

My sister-in-law came over today to help me empty out the house. I had told her and my brother that I was just going to get a dumpster to do the deed, and she wanted me to instead donate what we could. I'm not against donating, just taking the time to sort it all out. Well, a good chunk of stuff that's leaving the house is going to be donated and I should be able to call and down size my dumpster and save some cash.

Also, the glass guy came over and put a new windshield in my car this morning. He tells me that it all went well, that there wasn't any concern with the small bit of surface rust my car had near the windshield to cause leakage, and I have a rear view mirror again. I'm gruntled. :)

With your place, I agree. That's why I told my mother that I was just flat out trashing things and that was that when I move out after grad school.

Grindhouse night at Chez Rube. It was fun. And Summerfest in Milwaukee is not bad. Saw Pearl Jam there one year.

It was OK. Sadly, no one wanted to see Lady A. There was a local band that was slightly better than the sh**ty one we saw at TK's that Labor Day, and Three Dog Night. Tomorrow would have been a much better night to go with Brantley Gilbert on one of the free stages.

I have a feeling it's more fun with friends than family...

That I cannot say. A buddy and I went there for PJ only, made a day trip, so didn't soak in the other stuff. It seemed like a decent atmosphere to hang, we just didn't have it in our schedule.

Think State Fair. Downsized, less awesome, and centered around music instead of agriculture.

I am still awake, of course. I am really tired, though. Crazy humans. Only animal that stays awake when exhausted, and gets up before fully rested.

Good morning Brent. And to the rest of the Lodge! Hot here in 617/781-ville

Got up early this morning and took the new sneaks out for a walk. Then walked up to Dunkin Donuts for coffee, had one of the gift cards with me (better than lugging cash). It was in the basket where all the unused gift cards are so I thought it was a full one. Turns out, there was only $1.58 left on it and my coffee was $2.02. I have the gift cards that I've used in my pocketbook so I have no idea how that one got in the unused pile. I told the kids at DDs that I had no cash so put the $1.52 back on the card and I'd leave the coffee. They told me I could take it. I felt bad but if a company the size of Dunkin' Donuts can't spot me .44, they shouldn't be around. I'll go back another time and tell them to keep change to even it out.

Today it's back to my brother's place, this time for my other niece's birthday party. Not till 4pm though, so I'm going to run to the supermarket then hit the pool for a couple of hours, cuz it's hot and humid.
