Stupid work-life balance. I'm just gonna say screw it and become a professional surfer. Just have to work on the whole balance thing, then it should be gravy from there.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

I'm starting to worry about the interview... not the interview itself but the company... seems they talk big about bringing in youth... and I see the complaints online about "work-life balance". I've already burned myself out once. I won't and can't go to that well again. That'd almost be worse than where I am now... at least there are people who have been there awhile (because of lack of better options)... so at least somebody knows something.

on the other hand, the website with posted ratings has them only slightly below SAS... SAS is well known for being one of the best places to work in the country.
Even if you don't want the job interviewing is good practice.

Happy Birthday sweet canadian mullet!!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! friday.

Last full day in the Twin Cities today. Will be on the road by noon tomorrow. Stopping in Elk Grove, IL Saturday night. Then on to Pittsburgh! :)

Good Morning Lodge.

Bon Voyage, JF! Happy Trails. Don't let the door hit you in the *** on the way out. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

It was what, 3 hours one way? Leave early on Fri or Sat morn, eat, drive back. Just because it's there. ;) Besides, imagine the looks on Rosy's face when a crapload of Gopher jerseys/etc walk in.....

And yeah, I think that's where I was for a GPL hangout. Actually, pretty darn sure.
This is a terrible idea. Just....terrible.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

Good Morning, Lodge!

The probability that I slam my co-worker's head into the wall is very high today. I know that I am an airhead, but she is something else.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

I sold my Kenny Chesney/Tim McGraw tickets yesterday. Got $300 each for them. I should have bought more from the start...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

Cleaning out my desk at work I came across a newspaper from August 2, 2007.

I better not comment upon the stuff that I found when I retired late 2010 after over 36 years using the same desk and file cabinets. (They moved with me through seven offices.) ;)
