They sent us home early. Only two pools were needed. The key is to get jury duty before a Holiday. :) I had it once the day before Labor Day or Memeorial Day and no pools were needed at all.

OTOH, the Fed Court will probably call me in a week.

Most of the still standing flood waters are on the far southern/western end of town, and on in to Thomson and Moose Lake. My usual haunts are not in that area.
Maybe we'll have to have a few Swedish beverages tonight on our porch after work. (Thanks, bbdl!)

Anyone in the Twin Cities want to meet up late afternoon for some drinks tomorrow? Somewhere with a deck or patio? I have to pick up the gf at about 6:30, and I have time to kill after work.

Hopefully you find some in that variety pack that are good. I tried the ciders and like them, and the St. Peters is really good, but not really for a hot day.

Golf shirt and khakis. I look like a copier salesman.

Black interior in the truck is bad enough. Glad I don't have leather seats.

In 320ville it's currently 81 with a dew point of 43. Not bad but I would rather have 20 below. I always wear a suit and a tie and I had a speaking engagement earlier this afternoon. Fricken broke out into a sweat on the walk from my car to the building and then broke into another sweat once I got into my car to leave.

I thought about it. However, the group I was speaking to were advocates for women coming from abusive situations and they might have gotten the wrong impression with s&ss. ;)

That'd be a ridiculously bad option for me... Saturday looks like a long day... two birthday parties... hopefully if I do it right I'll be zonked around 11PM Saturday. Sunday will be a research and prep day.

Well, this is going to be about from 4:30-6:30, so if you're doing lunch, I'm guessing you'll be done and out of there by the time I'll be out of work.
