Still partying up on Coon Lake. Weeeeeeee!
Caught the limit on crappies in an hour and a half. The fish fry tomorrow will be glorious.
'Murica!
There's no "may be" about it - they ARE mandatory. Try making fun of John Deere while you're out there and see how that flies. I have a friend from high school who went there because he couldn't get into an actual school, all he had to do was draw breath (his words), and he couldn't tell a horse from a cow before he got there. When he got back after his first year he's correcting me in the most adamant way possible short of fisticuffs when I misidentified a Quonset hut as a barn. I still can't tell the difference.
Pulled pork is awesome.
Grand Old Day today, always a good time.
Am I an oddity that I am 26 and neither have kids nor the desire for them?
A biological oddity most likely because if it was common the human race would have gone extinct long ago. My experience is that a not insignificant segment of our generation is choosing to not have children for whatever reason (we are still a significant minority).
Valid point.
It's not something that is completely off the table. It's more of a, "certainly not right now, and if it happens or not down the road, OK" type of thought. Still, I'm starting to feel like I'm doing something wrong by not reproducing already.
Nope. Mr les and I were just together at 26 and in those days one did not have a baby without the ring. We waited until I was 34. The rest of our friends have had their kids grad from college. We are still parents of a HS kid.I think I may be the only woman from my high school graduating class not currently expecting a baby or already a parent. Holy crap. Every other post on my Facebook feed is either a massively swollen midsection or a drooling mini-human. Am I an oddity that I am 26 and neither have kids nor the desire for them?
/meaning no offense to tLodge parents, just had to get that off my chest.
