got up to weee and see if it was raining. was supposed to play at 744a this morning, first round of our 'captain's choice' tournament. low 30 guys who sign up (out of 120) draft a team the thursday before and play sat/sun. we are rained out today - making it a one day event if possible tomorrow. what makes this crappy is we make 3x bets with everyone (1st rd, 2nd rd, total). now i just lost 2/3rds of my earning power!!! :(

Good morning Lodge. Total rainout today. Hope DaveStPaul and his missus don't have plans ruined. Tomorrow is supposed to be crappy, too.

Graduation last night was nice. It was about 10-15 degrees colder than anyone anticipated so of course no one was prepared. We were all shivering. And then by the time it was over, and we made our way to the courtyard, took forever to finally find my niece. We did, got a bunch of pictures and said goodnight as all the grads had a pizza party in the cafeteria and then left by bus to some place nearby for an all-night party. So, me, my brothers, my parents and my other niece were starving at this point. It was about 10pm. Wound up getting Chinese takeout and not getting home till 11:30. What a long day.

Hair appointment today at 11:30, then seeing what the family is up to. My cousin and her husband flew in this weekend, too. She is going to surprise everyone at my brother's birthday party tomorrow with news of her impending arrival (she told me on Mother's Day). Hopefully we can all do something tonight as well.

I should get my butt up off this couch.

It was like Christmas today when the mail came. Jr. got accepted to the hoity-toity private school that MNS went to (hope it doesn't ruin Jr. like it did MNS;)) and my new smart phone (Motorola Razr Maxx) arrived. Now I can post during the day from the men's room like mookie!

Lovely day here. Friends coming over later to show us pictures from their trip to the Czech Republic. Their kid is the high-end hockey player who got invited to camp/tournament there.

Les - I've been at work yesterday and today so I haven't been able to rep you an answer to your Extras question, but there's a little more shine in her eye these days. Not sure if that hint will suffice until I can get to a non-mobile page.

Lil was a torcj bearer last night. His buddy was supposed to do it with him and bailed. He ended up being the only boy. I guess the odds were good but he was bored. :p

He should; I mean, heck, they let MNS graduate! :D

Perfect day for an Arnie Palmer. Almost wish I had the one thing one needs for a John Daly. ;)

I went and upgraded to the Razr Maxx yesterday. Seems like a very awesome phone.
